Argentina-born Mexican telenovela actor Sebastian Rulli is equally popular as actress Angelique Boyer on social media. But in terms of depth of acting, Sebastian still has plenty to catch up with Angelique.
Over in Instagram, Sebastian has 1.4 million followers for the 430 pictures that he has posted over the past few years detailing his personal and career goings-on.
A number of photos posted by the Telenovela actor are group pictures that involve him and his girlfriend Angelique along with several fellow actors and actresses in Mexican telenovelas of yore.
More than half of his image posts on Instagram show him and Angelique together indicating that he really has serious feelings for the 27-year-old actress.
Over at Twitter, Sebastian Rulli has 2.42 million followers. He has joined the social media app in 2009 and has since made over 15,400 tweets.
It can be gleaned from his Twitter page, written in Spanish where he is obviously very comfortable with, that his tweets are mostly about his friends and family members, which seem to indicate that he is a family-oriented person.
Getting serious
Sebastian Rulli and Angelique Boyer have been dating for 21 months now and their relationship is close to being in the level of serious.
In an interview last month with a Mexican publication, Sebastian Rulli explained that he is open to anything that is in store for his relationship with the 27-year-old France-born Mexican telenovela star.
He revealed that just like any other man who is in love, he is very much willing to tie the knot with Angelique sometime in the future and perhaps add a baby into the equation of their relationship.
Sebastian said that he shall always be happy with a family union, alluding of marriage, in the near future all in God’s will. He said that he or Angelique will not call the shots on their possible union because they will be leaving everything to God.
He said that he has learned not to do things that do not have the blessings of God. Just like any other persons who is in love, he nurtures his hopes and dreams that his marriage with Angelique will finally happen someday.
Taking their real-life romance on-screen again
Mexican network Televisa has confirmed that Sebastian Rulli and Angelique Boyer are going to star in the remake of “Lazos De Amor” written by the critically-acclaimed Angelli Nesma.
The two are expected to take their real-life romance to the small screen once again when it debuts in Mexican television next year.
In a recent tell-all interview with Televisa producer Jose Alberto Castro, he disclosed that the relationship of Angelique and Sebastian meant two things for him. He and Angelique used to be a couple for three years until they agreed to break up in March 2014.
Castro says that he has no hard feelings toward the “Lo Que La Vida Me Robo” star because he believes that the most beautiful thing in life is when a person wakes up without owning anything to anybody as it meant peace.
He was the one who actually made Angelique Boyer a star when he produced the telenovela “Teresa.” Ironically, it was also in the same TV series that Angelique first came in close contact with Sebastian Rulli.
So when he learned later that after their breakup that Sebastian started dating Angelique, he really felt bad and has severed his friendship with the 40-year-old actor. While he and Angelique were no longer a couple when Sebastian came into the picture, Castro still feels betrayed.
But he does not bash Angelique in interviews or in any statement at all, even saying that he would really consider working with her again in the future because Angelique is a person that has a lot of potentials to make a great career. He adds that his former lover has the chops and a great interpretative range in acting.
