Khloe Kardashian did aunt duties and visited her sister Kim Kardashian after delivering the newest member of the family.
Kim and Kanye welcomed their baby boy, Saint West, on December 5 in Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
Upon the 34-year-old reality star’s delivery, the name of the baby was not disclosed. It wasn’t until December 7 when fans learned the official name of the baby boy.
Kim, on her subscription-based website kimkardashianwest.com, entered a post entitled ‘To Our Fans’ and simply wrote: “Saint West, 12.05.15, 8 pounds 1 ounce.”
On December 6, Khloe was spotted pulling up in the underground car park of the hospital as she paid her new nephew a visit.
The 31-year-old reality star wore an all-black ensemble with aviator shades and a baseball cap.
The newest addition to the famous family is Kardashian’s third nephew next to Kourtney’s Mason and Reign. She also has two nieces, Kim’s firstborn North and Kourtney’s Penelope.
However, it looks like Khloe also has a side trip to visit her ex-husband Lamar Odom who is also rehabilitating in the same medical facility after a drug overdose in Nevada in October.
The Daily Mail reports that Khloe’s car was full of bags which indicates that she’s staying longer than a usual visit in the hospital.
Upon her visit, Kardashian tweeted that she has the different areas of the facility memorized already which could mean that she probably checked in on Odom as well.
Apparently, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” star is moving forward with the divorce proceedings with the former NBA player despite halting it a few months ago when Odom was in severe condition.
The 36-year-old athlete was discovered unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas in October. He was rushed immediately to a nearby hospital and remained in a coma for three days.
Once he awoke from the coma, Khloe accompanied Lamar via medical helicopter to Los Angeles where he started undergoing his recuperation.
According to the Inquistr, Lamar will eventually be released, but he must have a stable home to return to.
The former NBA star’s associates really like for him to have a home health-care type of situation, but that may not be possible.
It was earlier reported that the former NBA superstar could not make a full recovery in time. TMZ claims that he may be suffering from extensive brain damage.
Last month, TMZ reported that Odom was unable to recognize some of his family and friends and struggled to walk and communicate verbally.
On the most recent episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” Season 11, Khloe spoke of her relationship with her former spouse, saying that she still loves him, but at the same time, she needs to move on with her life.
Lamar and Khloe married in September 2009, just a month after meeting at a party. In 2013, Odom was accused of cheating on his wife and using drugs. Months after the accusation has been thrown, Kardashian filed for divorce.
Meanwhile, amid all the drama in Khloe’s life, the star still managed to share some good vibes through her website.
The “DASH” owner shared a video from her Thanksgiving dinner with her family at her website, khloewithak.com.
In the video, the Kardashian-Jenner clan sans Rob said what they were thankful for. Khloe, for her part, shouted that she is thankful that they all managed to be having dinner at one table after a crazy year.
Clearly she was referring to her mom, Kris Jenner, and her ex-husband Bruce Jenner who has transitioned to Caitlyn Jenner, being able to sit next to each other in one table.
Asked what she’s thankful for this year, Caitlyn says that she’s thankful that she wakes up in the morning excited to start her day all the time. She adds that she’s thankful for everybody in the room.
