‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ Second and Final Expansion is Going to be Pretty Awesome, Says Game Developer!

When the first DLC expansion pack titled “Heart of Stone” came to the open world role-playing game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” in October, gamers and critics were all praises for it.

Although it is already a massive game filled with various types of awesome quests, the “Hearts of Stone” DLC has further added arguably the best quests in the game, notes Gaming Bolt.

As far as gamers are concerned, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is already a perfect game that was even made more perfect by the “Hearts of Stone” DLC expansion pack. But as far as its game developer CD Project Red is concerned, the first DLC allowed them to correct the mistake of the base game.

They have another chance at game refinement as a second expansion pack is set to be released next year. And word has it that the second and final DLC expansion pack, which shall reportedly be released anytime during the first half of 2016, will be pretty awesome too.

CD Projekt Red community manager confirmed that the second expansion pack to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is going to be awesome and he expressed his excitement on Twitter. He also confirmed that CD Projekt Red would also incorporate community feedback into the new expansion as well.

And as expected, the expansion pack will all come to the three versions of the game on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC.

When it was launched in May 2015, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” enjoyed strong reviews including 10/10 from Gamespot. The game has been nominated for seven awards at the Game Awards. Reports have it that the second DLC will introduce around 20 hours of new content.

As a proof of how excellent and critically-acclaimed a video game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is, the CD Projekt Red’s latest masterpiece has recently bagged five of the total of 25 awards handed out during the recent Golden Joysticks Award 2015.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” was cited for Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Gaming Moment – the Bloody Baron quest, Studio of the Year for CD Projekt Red, and Game of the Year.

The awards were determined by the organizer through public voting of over nine million gamers held at the indigO2 event at London’s O2 Arena that was hosted by Danny Wallace.

Meanwhile, gaming experts call the latest expansion pack of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” as the most meaningful downloadable content to come by without the gamers feeling exploited at all.

Apparently, the “Hearts of Stone” DLC expansion pack lets gamers choose their own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost, and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures witcher Geralt of Rivia has ever encountered.

CD Projekt Red added on the expansion pack synopsis that the game features the adventures of Geralt and his supernatural conflict with the mystical creatures. Overall, it will be a new thrill for players to look forward to on the game.
