Valve supposedly has undisclosed issues creating the third installment of any of their popular titles. A popular example of this would be their hesitation to launch Half-Life 3, even though the gamers around the world have been crying for it, quite literally, for almost a decade. Same can be said about Left 4 Dead 3.
Minh Le, the original creator of Counter Strike, revealed that Left 4 Dead 3 is under development at the moment, at a press conference a while back. This is great news for fans of the popular series, as numerous additions have been planned while several others are currently being speculated.
Another reason the rumors aren’t dying down is because an insider at Valve, accidentally leaked some files title Left 4 Dead 3 while browsing through her computer. This is visible in a video posted on YouTube. The original installment of Left 4 Dead released back in 2008 and was an instant hit. Its popularity forced the makers to come up with Left 4 Dead 2 just one year later.
This is not all! Fan brewed rumors claim that the upcoming installment has characters called The Bloody Clown, The Breeder and The Assassin. These were reported by KDrama Stars, although, we could not find any other reliable sources to authenticate such reports, Valve, as usual, was unavailable for comment, which makes the situation even more difficult for us to deal with.
If these rumors are true and the characters are indeed being incorporated, will they manage to surpass the powers and popularity of the well-known protagonists of the previous installments? Could the new characters be trickier than The Charger, or be more powerful than The Witch or The Tank?
There is only one way to find out, but, unfortunately, Valve has got that exit point sealed for the time being. We will keep our eyes and ears peeled for additional information, although, Valve needs to come up with a few official statements every once in a while, at least to keep the fans in lieu.
Initial reports suggest that Left 4 Dead 3 could be based on the latest Source 2.0 Engine, although, the report remains unconfirmed. A faction of the fan base believes that Minh Le has come across early renderings and an incomplete version of the game, although, Le has denied having any close encounters with the game.
