Clash of Clans to Address Security Issues and Add more Features to Title!

“Clash of Clans” is about to get a major update soon, and it’s currently scheduled for a December release. It’s going to be a pretty large update that adds various new features to the game, but it looks like these won’t be the only kinds of changes coming with the new version. According to reports, Supercell have been taking a much more active and aggressive stance with the game’s security and they want to fix various hacking-related issues in order to make it a safer title and give everyone a fair chance.

All in all, the new update is going to introduce various gameplay features and will greatly expand the scope of the title, while at the same time it’s also reportedly going to make the gameplay a bit smoother and more optimized for players of all skill levels. When it releases in a few weeks, we expect that people are going to start exploring various new strategies and approaches to the gameplay, and we might end up with a significantly changed landscape for the game in terms of what the most popular strategies are.

Town Hall 11 is finally coming after much anticipation from fans, and it will bring various new features with it in order to make the gameplay even more interesting for high-level players who are growing bored of the content they had available until now. And with the new Town Hall, players will also get access to various new features such as a brand new defensive structure that will be able to damage multiple enemies at the same time and will work with splash damage.

It looks like the new update is actually pretty strongly focused on defense, as the game will give players various new options to protect their bases. There is now something called a “village guard concept” but the exact nature of this feature remains unknown at this stage. Players have of course been speculating about it quite a lot, but nobody seems to know for sure what it’s about.

On the other hand, as we said above Supercell are actively trying to prevent people from cheating in the game, and the new update will bring about various changes meant to combat dishonest players. For example, there will now be a “session timer”, and on the other hand players can also go on a “personal break”, but we don’t know exactly what that’s about either.

The main theory within the community right now is that the personal break will allow players to leave their bases unattended for some time without worrying about having them pillaged, but we are not sure if there will be any limitations to that. After all, it sounds like a feature that will not only protect players, but it could potentially be a bit exploitable, so we don’t know if it will be usable without any restrictions or if players will still have to be careful with organizing their schedule and planning ahead.

Clash of Clans

All in all, the game is going to be expanded a lot with the December update, and Supercell should see many players flocking to “Clash of Clans” once the new version is out. The game is already one of the most popular mobile titles and this update will surely do even more in this regard, but we just hope that Supercell are not going to lose sight of what really matters in the title and what drove players to it in the first place.
