Fans of “Person of Interest” have been a bit worried that the show might be coming to an end after season 5, as the producers were apparently looking to wrap things up. However, it looks like that could have been just a matter of wrongly interpreted reports, as now it’s been said that season 5 could be the last for the show on CBS in particular, but not in general. So far, “Person of Interest” has been enjoying very positive reception and fans are excited to see what will happen in the next episodes.
One of the biggest mysteries of the show right now is the fate of Shaw, and there has been a lot of speculation from the community on that topic. We don’t know exactly what the writers are planning for the character, but many fans have been curious to see how that story will unfold and what actually happened to her.
Sarah Shahi has been discussing the possibility of coming back to the show, and she claimed that viewers are going to learn all that’s happened to her over the course of her disappearance. It sounds like it’s going to be a very tense, dramatic episode, but that certainly doesn’t sound out of place for “Person of Interest”. But then again, these rumors are quite typical for shows of this magnitude and it’s a good idea to take them with a grain of salt. It’s hard to tell where the show is headed right now in terms of major changes, especially with regards to the lack of clarity around season 6. If there is indeed a new season after the fifth one, then rumors of major changes could make a bit more sense. Otherwise, we’re not so sure that the writers could want to introduce anything too serious right before the show ends.
But season 6 will probably remain the subject of speculation until it’s confirmed to be coming to another network, so fans will have to keep wondering. It’s good to see that people attached to the show are sharing information whenever they can, because fans most likely appreciate being kept in the loop right now. Nobody really likes the feeling of constant anticipation of something unknown, especially when it comes to a production that they keep close to their hearts.
