‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ to Feature Only Three Other Superheroes Other than the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader!

Barely four months to go before the superhero movie based on DC comics “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits global theaters, details of the film are starting to come out.

Interestingly, one of the details that superhero fanatics will find rather odd is that the upcoming movie from Warner Bros will feature only three other DC superhero characters other than Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Unlike the Marvel’s Avengers, which now count more than 10 superhero characters, and will mostly be seen in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” next year minus Thor and the Hulk, the initial formation of the Justice League will include only five superhero characters.

In addition to the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader, the three other superheroes who shall be featured in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” includes Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and Ezra Miller’s The Flash, details Moviepilot.

Previous reports about Cyborg seem inaccurate. Robin, the Boy Wonder partner of Batman, will only appear in flashback because he seems to be already dead in the movie. Jena Malone as the female Robin in the upcoming movie is still unclear.

Not overstuffed

In a recent interview, producer Charles Rovan said that he does not think that “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is overstuffed.

Right from the onset, everyone knows that the film shall revolve primarily on Batman and Superman and their conflict, which shall then lead to the formation of the Justice League.

He also added that the other superhero characters will be there to spice things up, but he said that viewers will find their characters interesting enough and will want to see more of them, which is where their respective solo films will come into play.

Reports have it that Wonder Woman will eventually have her own film, and so is Aquaman possibly. The Flash already has his own TV series in The CW network.

Rovan explained that one of the things that they are doing when they decided to bring together the DC Justice League universe is to create not only stories that work for the individual films but shall also have some resonance or connection with the other films in the franchise.

He adds that one of the great things about dealing with superheroes, in general, is that they are both inspirational and aspirational characters.

An interesting spectacle

Meanwhile, one of the more interesting spectacles that viewers should watch out for in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is the new appearance of the Batmobile, reports Screen Rant.

Ever since Tim Burton showed his own cinematic vision of the Batmobile in 1989, there have been different renditions of Batman’s vehicle that followed.

Val Kilmer’s Batman showed a skeletal hot rod for a Batmobile in “Batman Forever,” while Christian Bale’s Batman had an industrial military-grade tank for a Batmobile in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” trilogy.

Zack Snyder is definitely not to be outdone with his rendition of the Batmobile. Based on the latest preview of Batman’s vehicle in the upcoming DC movie, the Batmobile shall feature plenty of perks, including shaved-down tractor tires, a forward-facing Gatling gun, and a grizzled exterior.

According to critics, the new Batmobile does not disappoint because when it finally comes out, it would make Christian Bale’s Tumbler Batmobile a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros and DC Comics are quite confident that when “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” comes out in global theaters on March 25, 2016, it will be one of the biggest, if not the biggest comic book films, ever.

All the teases, trailers, and information regarding the movie really look fantastic and awesome, and it seems that DC has all the right reasons to be optimistic that the film is going to be an epic.

batman vs superman

There are a lot of things going for “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and among the major upsides include the fact that the Justice League is actually the more popular superhero team compared to the Avengers and the X-Men. If Warner Bros does it right, it may be able to offset the seeming advantage and head start already put on by Marvel Studios.

There is also the excitement of having Ben Affeck as Batman which precedes the outstanding run of Christian Bale in the Dark Knight trilogy of Director Christopher Nolan.
