Selena Gomez was an attention-getter when she attended the City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Gala in Santa Monica, California on November 5.
The “Good for You” singer looked very radiant in a superbly hot mini-dress with a plunging neckline.
The Ulyana Sergeenko dress was accentuated by her high-necked choker neckline, which was fastened by an oversized white button. She completed her ensemble with a pair of cocktail rings and strappy silver heels, details US Magazine.
Selena Gomez also topped off her overall appearance with a red lip, which offered the perfect contrast to the sultry and solid number.
As if to show that she knows that she really looks good and hot on her attire, Selena Gomez actually posted a selfie photo of herself on her Instagram.
Not happy with Justin’s version
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Latina singer took a swipe at former boyfriend Justin Bieber by saying that she does not like the Biebs’ Latin remix of the song “Sorry.”
Her comment was actually in direct contrast to Justin’s claims that Latino girls will be going crazy on the new Latin remix of his song “Sorry” that also features Jay Balvin, notes the Hollywood Life.
Selena gave a thumbs down to “Sorry” by posting an photo on her Instagram with a little girl holding a coffee mug with the words ‘Drink some coffee, put on some gangster rap and handle it,’ underneath.
Fans and critics believe that Selena’s reaction was a little surprising since she previously liked an Instagram post of Justin composed of six photos earlier that same day that featured a timeline of their relationship. Four of the six photos showed them literally kissing.
According to sources close to Selena, “The Heart Wants What it Wants” singer was upset not really over the song “Sorry” but to Justin himself because he told Billboard in a recent interview that he has not listened yet to any of the tracks in Selena’s new album “Revival.”
Meant for each other
Although they are not a couple at the moment, songstress Selena Gomez reportedly believes that she and Justin Bieber are meant for each other and that eventually they will end up getting married and have their happily ever after.
However, the statement did not come from Selena herself but from a source close to her who revealed to a British publication that “The Heart Wants What it Wants” singer freely admits that Justin is the love of her life.
The same source said that Selena is just waiting for Justin to grow up and see sense in their relationship before they get back together.
The source added that Selena is really desperate to marry Justin and spend the rest of their lives together and there is no other guy that comes close to the “What Do You Mean” singer to her heart.
However, until Selena Gomez comes out with a statement to confirm the report, this appears to be a wishful thinking from the source because the last official statement from the songstress to Justin was saying otherwise.
For consistently having her singles make it to No. 1 in the Billboard chart, Selena Gomez is set to receive the Chart Topper Award at Billboard’s annual Women in Music event to be held in New York City on December 11.
The award, which was won last year by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, recognizes major career milestones of female artists on Billboard’s music charts.
Selena Gomez’s song has been a consistent chart-topper. Her latest album, titled “Revival,” debuted early this month at No. 1 on the Billlboard 200 with a total of 117,000 units sold on its first week.
“Revival” is actually Selena’s second No. 1 album in the US following her “Stars Dance” album released in 2013, which has sold over 6.7 million copies worldwide. But the single sales of “Stars Dance” have already reached 22 million.
