Luke Hemmings, the lead vocalist of the Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS), has not made any official statement to confirm that he is dating his rumored new girlfriend, known in social media and the public as Arzaylea. Reports have it that the 19-year-old singer claims that he is still single.
Rumors about their being a couple started last month when they were spotted leaving The Nice Guy lounge in west Hollywood holding hands. Arzaylea has since been spotted with Bryana Holly, the girlfriend of Ashton Irwin, at past 5SOS concerts, which were parts of their “Rock Out With Your Socks Out” world tour in North America.
Despite breakup rumors, Bryana and Ashton appear to be very much into each other. In fact, Ashton said recently that he is very much in love with his girlfriend and that Bryana is inspired by some of the songs from their latest album.
On the other hand, as if to indicate that the relationship of Luke and Arzaylea is moving towards the direction of serious, they were actually caught on video kissing while watching the concert of All Time Low (ATL) on October 24 in the US, reports the Hollywood Take.
Luke attended the ATL concert to support fellow bandmate Michael Clifford, who also performed for ATL that night. As he was with Arzaylea during the concert, it seems obvious that their relationship is moving towards past the getting-to-know-you stage, especially when they were caught on film sharing a romantic kiss.
His ideal girlfriend
In an earlier interview, Hemmings said that his ideal girl should be someone who gets along well with buddies Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford. He added in jest that it’s really very difficult to find a girl who would like his three buddies because there are not many people that do.
With the relationship of Luke and Arzaylea progressing, it seems like she is also hitting it off well with Calum, Ashton, and Michael.
The band members of 5SOS hold a high degree of respect and affection for each other because they spend most of their time with each other. They are more like brothers already so it is not surprising that part of their requirements for having a girlfriend is that she should get along with her boyfriend’s best buddies.
5SOS just completed their “Rock Out With Your Socks Out” world tour in North America recently and they have been sharing their concert tour experiences and happiness with their fans and loved ones on social media.
In a recent tweet, Ashton Irwin said the overwhelming support that fans threw for the global concert tour of 5SOS was absolutely mind-blowing and that it was like a dream come true for the rock band. He added that he hoped that fans had the best time ever attending their gigs and left the shows feeling livelier and in love with live music than they were before.
Occasional disagreements
Despite their seeming closeness, Luke also revealed that he and his bandmates do not always get along at certain times. They also have their fair share of disagreements every now and then.
In a recent interview, Luke said that he and Calum, Michael, and Ashton get into a lot of fights especially since they have been on tour for more than two years now.
While many fans would think that the boys fight over girls, but they are actually fighting over one thing only and that’s about music.
Luke said that their disagreements often center on music and rehearsals, saying that he has learned to live with his three bandmates because he would be a real terrible person if he did not get it on.
