According to the latest reports, Stallone has been considering a venture into Bollywood, where he has apparently already managed to land a role in an upcoming production.
But as can be expected by fans, he will continue to perform in the kind of role that he does best – action characters. Reports about the new film paint it in a very interesting light, claiming that it’s about the career of a wrestler – played by Salman Khan – being trained by none other than Sylvester Stallone himself. It sounds like the production might be an interesting twist on another film that Stallone is very known for, and which actually many attribute to the rise of his career, “Rocky”.
Fans of Stallone have been understandably excited about the production and are claiming that it might show the actor in a different light, one that they haven’t seen him in before. And of course, the media has quickly picked up on the situation as well, with various publications already discussing the upcoming new film and talking about it with a lot of active interest.
It’s no wonder that Stallone has chosen to work with Salman Khan in particular, as the two actors have been very close in general and they have a record of working together in the past. Which is commendable in itself as not many actors manage to hold on to their prominence after being in the industry for this long. Even fewer actors decide to expand their skillsets in such a way and explore new things that might work out for them, so Sylvester Stallone definitely deserves commendation for the bold approach he takes to his career.
Meanwhile, he has been continuing his work on the next installment in “The Expendables”, and there are lots of high expectations for the film from all sides. There have been some issues in the franchise lately that have resulted in a decrease in its popularity, but for the most part Stallone has managed to do something good with the whole series and he has been enjoying a lot of success with it.
