Final Fantasy XV to Be Shown in Extra Detail at Upcoming Event with Playable Demo of Episode Duscae 2.0!

Paris Games Week is coming up, and the event that will be held in France has been drawing the attention of various members of the industry, as both developers as well as gamers have been flocking to it for different purposes. Some want to see what the industry has been up to and what kinds of interesting games are coming up soon, while on the other hand developers like Square Enix want to take the opportunity to show off their progress on some of their own projects, and there has been a lot of excitement over their presentation for the upcoming “Final Fantasy XV”.

The studio is going to be talking about the franchise as a whole quite a bit at this event, as they will also show off “Final Fantasy Explorer”, a game designed specifically for the 3DS which is going to expand the franchise a little bit further, and on the other hand they are going to give more details about the main title itself, “Final Fantasy XV”, as well as give gamers an opportunity to check out the “Episode Duscae 2.0” demo with their own eyes and hands.

According to reports, there will be a playable version of the demo presented at the event, although we don’t know the exact details of what limitations gamers will have for exploring it. It’s very likely that it will be a controlled experience though, as we don’t expect Square Enix to want to give gamers too much too soon, but on the other hand it should at least calm people’s minds and help them remember why they are waiting for this game so much in the first place.

All in all, Square Enix are aiming to give their fans a lot of information during this event and the developer has reportedly been working hard to prepare something good for their fans. Which is good, because interest in “Final Fantasy XV” has been growing very fast, while official information about the game hasn’t been that abundant and people have been worried to some extent. Still, from what we’ve heard the development has been going very well and people will have a lot to see and do with this game for sure.

Gamers are still worried about some changes that are coming up in the franchise with this installment however, as Square Enix are seemingly trying to shift the focus of the franchise as a whole in some regards, and this has been a bit controversial among long-term fans of the series who have been with it since the beginning.

The gameplay in particular is going to be changed in some ways that have been seen as questionable by some fans, and while some people were quick to make negative comments about these announcements, others are confident that Square Enix have planned everything correctly and know what they are doing. After all, they’ve managed to keep this game alive for so long now, and it would be strange to see them release a game that goes against what people want.

There is only one way for us to find out though, and that’s to wait until the game is released and out on the market. This will still take some time, as it’s currently scheduled for release in 2016, but hopefully Square Enix are at least going to release some more information about it in the meantime to calm down their fans and prepare them for the release more adequately.
