‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Hearts of Stone’ is the Most Meaningful Expansion DLC to Come By Without Gamers Feeling Exploited!

The latest expansion pack to the open-world role-playing game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” has just arrived via DLC on October 13 and gaming experts call it the most meaningful downloadable content (DLC) to come by without the gamers feeling exploited at all.

Officially titled “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Hearts of Stone” the DLC expansion lets gamers choose their own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost, and outsmarting the most bizarre creatures witcher Geralt of Rivia has ever encountered.

Game developer CD Projekt Red added on the expansion pack synopsis that the game features the adventures of Geralt and his supernatural conflict with the mystical creatures. Overall, it will be a new thrill for players to look forward to in the game.

The first piece of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” paid DLC adds yet another layer to what might be the most robust open-world in gaming history. It is one DLC which is quite worth it because of its immense content and the robust storyline that also blends well with some new intriguing mechanics, short of fantastic actually, details Hardcore Gamer.

Logistical problems

Those who were able to get their hands on the expansion pack of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” are mostly giving positive reviews and feedbacks, unmindful of the fact that the game developer is having serious logistical problems in releasing the DLC in major markets, particularly the US.

While “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Hearts of Stone” has already been officially released by CD Projekt Red, there are some problems downloading it in some areas. Gamers who would like to get hold of the physical copies of the Limited Edition of the expansion pack in North America, including the US, will have to wait a little bit longer, notes Realty Today.

But elsewhere, the expansion pack is now ready for download in a special limited edition for the PlayStation 4 and the PC. It can also be purchased in different stores along with its collectible physical set of Gwent cards and download code.

Marcin Momot, the community manager of CD Projekt Red, has expressed an apology on behalf of the game development company for the delayed release of the Limited Edition of the expansion pack. He said that the delay has affected special boxed editions at GameStop stores all over America which was apparently due to logistical issues particularly in the delivery of the games for several days after it was officially released.

New characters and new love story

Apart from exciting new content, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Hearts of Stone” features new characters, new weapons to fight monsters, powerful armor, and unique and bone-chilling love story in a 10-hour new storyline.

As if the new expansion pack is still not expansive and immersive enough, a 20-hour expansion pack called, “Blood and Wine,” will also be released by CD Projekt Red next year.

Meanwhile, there have been rumors going around that CD Projekt Red is planning to sell itself to gaming industry giant Electronic Arts (EA).

The rumors were actually surprising especially at the heels of the successful launching of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” which sold over six million copies already.

The cardinal rule in gaming is that nobody should comment or dignify rumors in order to kill the wrong story via natural death.

But CD Projekt Red felt compelled to make a comment and it vehemently denied that it was selling to EA. The speculations about the possible sale of CD Projekt Red started on the inside from an employee leak to a gaming community.
