GTA 6 Rumored to Already Have a Solid Internal Plan, Fans Skeptical!

While “GTA 5” is still very active and popular and the game has been enjoying a lot of attention from its fans, some have been turning their heads in the direction of “GTA 6” and wondering what the new game might bring to the table, whenever it comes out. Knowing Rockstar’s very slow development pace for this franchise though, and how fresh “GTA 5” still is, it’s probably safe to assume that it will be a very long time before the game is even talked about on the official front, let alone released.

And yet, people love to speculate and to dig deep into rumors, especially rumors that directly interest them, and there has been no shortage of those surrounding “GTA 6”. From the game’s location, to its protagonists, gameplay features and release date – we’ve heard so many claims about “GTA 6” lately that it’s getting very hard to even follow all the rumors actively.

It’s very likely that the majority of those rumors have no substance and were made up by imaginative members of the community, and yet some have been repeated a few times by different sources so there might be something going on behind the doors of Rockstar. Even if the studio isn’t already developing the game – and we’re not sure that they are anyway – they are most likely at least planning their roadmap for it and have some milestones already set in place.

One of the rumors that have appeared lately is that the roadmap is actually already mostly finished, as the studio knows exactly what they want to do for this game and how they are going to implement it all. We don’t know what that roadmap contains, but it allegedly has an actual release date on it and Rockstar will be trying hard to meet that deadline. Whether or not they will succeed is a different story, as there are many factors that could get in their way (and probably will).

On one hand, planning a release for several years in the future almost never works out precisely, especially for a studio that currently has other projects on its hands. On the other, Rockstar are notoriously slow with their work so they are probably not the best authority to make estimates on how much time they are going to need to get the game done.

When could “GTA 6” arrive? In all likelihood it will be a few years before we see the game, especially if Rockstar want to continue expanding “GTA 5” and adding even more features to it over the next months. The studio has been very active in releasing new content for the game and they have been trying to please their fans as best as possible, listening to feedback and implementing features that people have been asking for. At the same time, they have been polishing the game as well, fixing bugs and balancing features that have been poorly implemented.

“GTA: Lowriders” is coming in just a few days actually, and the studio will likely continue to work on the game after this release as well. They must have a lot planned for the future of “GTA 5” as it’s currently a very profitable title with a lot to offer to gamers as well, and Rockstar would be making a huge mistake if they ignored that potential. Of course, they should also be careful not to turn it into a cash cow as this is something fans are definitely not going to tolerate for too long.
