The ponytail with occasional matching ribbon has been a signature hairstyle of pop singer Ariana Grande but for a brief moment recently, the “Problem” singer lose the do and took a picture of herself and posted it on Instagram.
It was a brief showcase on the part of the 22-year-old songstress because after posting a selfie of herself displaying her loose and straight hair on October 8, she then took down the picture, leaving her fans wondering what that was all about.
The Hollywood Life, however, caught a glimpse and saved the picture before it was taken down by Ari and the selfie shows her hair completely down and parted in the center. She looks very womanly minus the ponytail and she seems to be a bit more fresh-faced, compared to her looks in her ongoing “Honeymoon” tour. She also wears very light makeup, that makes her look very energized.
Of late, Ariana has been sporting the high ponytail and the half ponytail but she has been switching her looks. She recently showed off her natural curls on Instagram and she likewise took on the Spice Girls double bun hairstyle too.
Fans of the “Bang Bang” singer says that Ari looks beautiful regardless of the hairstyle she wears and they are hoping that she displays more variety to also reflect her versatility as a music artist and an actress.
Accidental posting
Speaking of Instagram, Ariana accidentally posted a video of herself puckering up for a kiss with Elizabeth Gillies, her former co-star in “Victorious,” details the Metro of UK.
She claims that it was an accidental posting but unlike her hairstyle post which she deleted abruptly, she defended the post on Twitter by saying that it’s her favorite video of all time and that she is not going to delete it. She tweeted that the video was great so whatever, indicating that she’s not going to do anything about it.
The new video post comes just months after the donutgate scandal where the singer was caught on CCTV licking freshly baked donuts in full view of other customers as part of a dare among her pals.
Instead of suing the singer for the brouhaha, donut shop owner Joe Marin said he just wanted a public apology from Ariana for the donut-licking and also for her subsequent ranting about obesity problems in America. Marin never got the apology he wanted to get from Ariana.
Dead on the first episode
It has definitely nothing to do with her doughnut-licking debacle not too long ago, but the predictions were right on cue when it was reported that Ariana Grande will have a short-lived stint as cast member of the horror anthology series “Scream Queens” that started airing on Fox beginning on September 22.
Ari played the role of a member of the Kappa sorority in Wallace University. She got killed right on the first episode. It was already expected by viewers because weeks before the premiere of “Scream Queens,” a scene from the TV series has found its way to YouTube, showing how short-lived the fate of the “Love Me Harder” singer in the upcoming show.
The synopsis of “Scream Queens” detailed that a devilish murderer is unleashing his or her terror after Dean Munsch, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, declares that sorority pledging must be open to all students and not just the school’s elite.
The YouTube clip was immediately removed from the site as the character of Ariana Grande was apparently shown getting stabbed in the neck by the murderer wearing a devilish costume. Ari’s character then defends herself and tries to tweet for help but gets stabbed again in the head.
The good news is that while she was already dead right in the first episode of “Scream Queens,” Ari will still be appearing in a couple more episodes so her appearance is not that too short-lived after all.
