When the sequel to one of the most popular film franchises of all time is being produced, it will obviously get a lot of attention during its development. “Star Wars Episode 7” is one of the hottest talks of the film industry right now, and it doesn’t look like its popularity is going to die down anytime soon. Many people want to see the new film as soon as possible, but at the same time pretty much everyone is fine with waiting as long as possible until it’s ready, as people understand that perfection takes time.
And considering how the second half of the original six films turned out, some fans are a bit wary towards the new one too, and are suspicious of what it might turn out to be. Of course, they have the right to have such an attitude – but from everything we’ve heard about the next “Star Wars”, it sounds like a great production with a lot of effort poured into it, so we would be surprised if it turns out to be a disappointment for fans.
Various details about the new film have made their way to the public, but a lot is still not known, including some more major points. The film could offer a different approach to its story than its predecessors, with a more modernized version of some plot details. This could mean a stronger focus on the personalities of individual characters as well as a more dramatic representation of the setting and environment.
There have been talks about making the Galactic Empire more menacing and more closely related to the Nazi regime from which they were apparently inspired. It’s possible that we will see a completely new look at the Empire in general, as there have been rumors that the producers are trying to reevaluate the way that they think about this part of the storyline and they want to give their fans some more food for thought.
Luke Skywalker is going to have his personality explored a bit more, especially when it comes to people around him. His family will likely be an important part of this plot and we could see their characters fleshed out more, although we don’t know any specifics about that. Many of the strange relationships that were set up in the original films will be explored in more detail, and fans have been very curious to see where this could all lead to.
Still, fans have no idea what the general plot is going to be about, and the producers have been keeping quiet about that. It certainly doesn’t help that the trailers we’ve seen so far only look at the setting and overall tone of the film, but have done little to give us hints about the plot. So far, we don’t know what kind of story this film is going to tell, but of course fans expect to see something very interesting that builds on the story which we already know from before.
The new trailer that’s coming up is expected to show a bit more about the story of the film, and fans have been hopeful for that too – “theme” trailers are good and all, but it’s also important to see some actual substance and get a glimpse into the plot of the new film. That’s something that would truly inspire interest in “Star Wars Episode 7”, although of course the film has plenty of attention on it right now too.
