Fresh from his five-month Prismatic World Tour, Katy Perry sustained the momentum of her excellent concert shows with another superb performance during the Rock in Rio gig on September 27 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The “Firework” singer came on stage wearing her signature outfit, donning a silver metallic circle skirt and matching crop top. She also complemented it with silver, fingerless gloves. It was a fun and flirty outfit where Katy Perry looked stunning and amazing, reminiscent of her Superbowl 2015 halftime performance, details the Hollywood Life.
In combination with the stage lights, the “Roar” singer made herself shine literally and figuratively while showcasing her toned figure in the outfit.
The crop top also featured a high neck which balanced the thigh-grazing hemline while highlighting her gorgeous shoulders and waist.
The “Unconditionally” singer wear hear hair pulled back in a ponytail so she was able to dance freely and flashy on stage giving it the signature Katy Perry performance right from the start.
It was one of those typical concert show deliveries from the 30-year-old singer in front of the full-packed Rio de Janeiro crowd that also included her close friend Rihanna.
Audience participation
During her stage performance, Katy even called one audience member on stage to join her perform for a song. But it took the singer quite some time to start the portion as the female audience would not stop kissing and smothering her.
But instead of getting piqued and annoyed with the female fan whom she called on stage, Katy simply said that she thinks that the fan was still rolling, much to the laughter of the appreciative crowd, reports Perez Hilton.
Nothing like a being a pro to handle an over-adoring fan and it seems Katy Perry made herself look great for it because other pop stars would have reacted differently considering how the fan practically swarmed her all over.
Wants another LA property
Meanwhile, Katy Perry must be really determined to get another property at Los Angeles, California that she has recently expressed her intention to buy an abandoned convent overlooking the City of Angels, notes the New York Daily News.
The pop star has lodged a suit alleging that rival bidder Dana Hollister made malicious actions to undercut her in the ongoing bidding for the property.
Perry said that Hollister acted fraudulently when she convinced the nuns they could junk her $14.5 million bid on the property by taking a $100,000 deposit with the promise of a $15.5 million offer or $1 million higher, on a later date. It was still not clear if the nuns took up the Hollister offer.
In another development, Katy Perry would not be taking Taylor Swift’s diss song about her titled “Bad Blood” sitting down. The “Roar” singer is planning to retaliate and start the fireworks to re-ignite her long-running feud with the “Blank Space” singer.
According to latest reports, Katy has written a scathing song about her feud with Taylor Swift and based on the initial feedbacks of people in the know, it could really turn ugly.
An insider on the camp of the “Firework” singer said that the song shall have a title of “Crocodile Tears” and Katy Perry is looking to tap Diplo, who openly bashed Taylor Swift early this year much to the chagrin and anger of the millions of Swifties, to produce the record.
The same source also disclosed that Katy has already had the title “Crocodile Tears” registered.
The insider said that Katy has been very restrained in what she’s been saying about Taylor Swift in public but after hearing for herself the swipe against her on the song “Bad Blood,” she is ready to put her side out too via “Crocodile Tears” which is all about being a fake, accordingly.
