TopCar have been known for their quality car kit designs for some time now, and even though their products are not aimed at pleasing everybody on the market, they definitely find a lot of attention among certain niches of drivers, especially those whose tastes fall within some specific areas. And recently, they’ve revealed something that has quickly drawn the attention of many Porsche fans – a custom white body kit for the 2015 Cayenne Vantage which adds quite a lot to the appearance of the model.
This is probably the first time we’re seeing this model “dressed” in all white, and it certainly looks impressive. According to TopCar, colors actually play a major role in the way we perceive automobiles, and they’ve put a lot of effort into coming up with a design that matches the aggressive, yet elegant style that the Cayenne Vantage has about it.
In fact, they’ve apparently decide to expand on the aggressive part, making the model even more appealing to those who want to display a true aura of power on the road. Some critics have pointed out that white is not the most obvious choice when one wants to make a car look more aggressive, but it does get the point across with the Cayenne Vantage, so there might be some sense to that decision. The specific design of the model just lends itself to getting this kind of treatment, and people have generally been very impressed with how TopCar have managed to transform the otherwise familiar looks of the car.
The color is not the only difference that the kit brings to the table, of course – nor should we expect it to, considering the price of the whole package. There have been various changes to the subtler details of the car, and it now looks much more defined in certain areas, especially the back. There are several new design elements, some of which are subtle, others not so much – like the rear spoiler – and they all come together to create a more stylized, flashy design that goes very well with the white color that spills all over the body of the car.
It’s not a cheap kit, on the other hand – there are several options to choose from, and the base model costs 14,865 Euros, while the more expensive carbon fiber one is offered at 21,365 Euros. This is clearly a product aimed at high-end customization fans who know what they’re going after and want to accomplish something truly unique with their cars, and not the average everyday buyer looking to spice up the looks of their car a little bit.
The design is quite good as a whole too, and it does offer a lot for the asking price. And on the other hand, if TopCar were to offer that too cheaply, it would diminish its uniqueness factor. It’s not like there are already too many people driving around in a 2015 Cayenne Vantage right now, but if a kit like that was easily available to anyone, we would probably see it becoming quite common.
The base price of the Cayenne itself is probably a good reason for the cost of kits like that, and it should be obvious that anyone who can afford this car can also afford to customize it more extensively with expensive parts and even custom-made designs where appropriate. It’s a model aimed at true fans of class, and a kit like this one can add a lot to the package.
