PES 2016 Reviews Are Online And They Are Mostly Positive, More Details

PES 2016 is a brand new game that arrived on store shelves just a few weeks ago in some places and that has plenty of gamers trying it out and posting reviews of the game online for all to see. After reading through some of the reviews, you could say that you have a great game on your hands, however, most of them are comparing PES 2016 to FIFA 2016 and that takes a little away from the actual game that you are playing.

PES 2016 is a great game, just like the gamers all over the world were expecting. The graphics are insanely life like and if you are playing it on the PS4 or the Xbox One, then you are looking at the best of the best in that regard. PES 2016 has more than ten confirmed stadiums to play, including Allianz Arena, Beira-Rio, Juventus Stadium, Old Trafford, San Siro and St. Jakob-Park just to name a few. Just having real stadiums that you can play in was a huge buy-in for gamers.

The game was released recently and was given a 9.5 out of 10 score by IGN, which boosted the popularity right away, of course. IGN stated that PES 2016 might be “the best football game ever made”. Of course that is just one online source speaking their wise words. If you take a look at a couple of other reviews, you ware quickly going to notice that PES 2016 has awesome graphics, but there is at least one category that is getting them a lower grade.

That category is gameplay. After reading through ten reviews, it was evident that not only did most of them lean towards the gameplay being too easy on PES 2016 and the graphics being awesome, but FIFA 16 being a better “overall game” in terms of football. PES 2016 was praised on its responsive, dynamic gameplay, but the repetitive commentary was one thing that could not be overlooked. According to those that are familiar with the development of the game, a new graphics engine was used and that included a new physics and collision system. This helps the players work “as a unit” and with better fluidity.

PES 2016 has been competing with FIFA games for many years and it appears that the overall outlook from those that reviewed the game is that PES 2016 is back on top in the war of the best football (soccer) games of all-time. Bringing the new physics engine into the gameplay allows for better off ball movement, which leads to more score options and maybe that is why the defense seems to be lacking. One review read that it was a disaster that a game ended 3-2 and thought that while playing on a harder level of difficulty, the score should have been closer to 0-0.
