‘FIFA 16’ Highlights Top 10 Best Passers in the Sport of Soccer!

Just a few days before the official rollout to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One of the football simulation video game “FIFA 16,” game developer EA Sports has released the top 10 passers in the game of soccer. The list is actually a major hint to gamers so that they can tap the playmaking players and use their skills to their advantage once the game comes out.

Playmakers may not be as the prolific scorers as the strikers in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, but their skills in passing can actually change the complexion of the game entirely, notes EA Sports.

Indicative of how good an all-around player Lionel Messi is compared to the world’s No. 1 football player, the Argentinian football sensation is actually in the list of “FIFA 16” best passers in the game of soccer, which the Portuguese superstar is not part of.

Italian footballer Andrea Pirlo, who now plays in the MLS for New York City and enjoying the twilight years of his colorful career, is actually the No. 1 in the list, notes The Independent of UK.

Pirlo has that unique ability to find a teammate and is still regarded as superior to the other nine contenders for the title of the best passer in the game.

The next two in the list give pride to the Premier League because they are considered as really better than Lionel Messi when it comes to passing.

Cesc Fabregas of Chelsea is the second best while David Silva of Manchester City ranks third. At fourth spot is Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate at FC Real Madrid Toni Kroos, followed by Xabi Alonso of FC Bayern Munchen, Andres Iniesta of FC Barcelona, Daniel Parejo of Valencia CF, Antonio Cassano of Sampdoria, Francesco Totti of AS Roma, with Lionel Messi also of FC Barcelona rounding up the Top 10.

Interestingly, the Arsenal football team, which is the self-proclaimed kings of passing in the Premier League, does not have a single player in the roster of Top 10 best passers of soccer.

Overcoming early advantage

Reports are already coming out lately that Konami’s “Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2016” is getting the better of EA Sports’ “FIFA 16” in terms of their respective gameplay trailers shown recently. However, EA Sports is still confident that it can overcome whatever advantage its rival has at the moment because it is banking on the overall excitement that its football simulation video game can provide to gamers.

While Konami has focused more on graphics and gameplay improvements in “PES 2016”, EA Sports has concentrated on improving the overall content of the video game, with plenty of new features and improvements.

The developer is confident that with the new features and improvements on the video game that very much resemble the events in real-life football, gamers will still stick to “FIFA 16” eventually once they realized that the game has plenty to offer in terms of content, features, more things to do, and thus more excitement too.

EA Sports is also banking on the game’s popularity over the last couple of years compared to the version of Konami and it is really determined to hold on to its reputation for “FIFA 16” despite a gallant attempt from the Japanese game developer.
