With so many rumors surrounding the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, fans have been getting a bit confused over what they can expect from the new film and how its production is structured exactly. There is also a lot of doubt within the community regarding certain aspects of the new film’s plot, and it looks like the producers are going to have to play their cards very carefully if they want to see success with this film.
One detail that has been the subject of a lot of attention from fans – and critics in some cases too – is the presence of Ben Affleck in the cast, with many people questioning how exactly he got the role in the first place. Apparently, it all started out as a bit of a joke, as there were some humorous discussions about a possible fight between fictional characters Jason Bourne and Batman, and this somehow led to the aforementioned decision to bring Affleck on the cast.
The decision was apparently ultimately in Affleck’s own hands, but the actor wasn’t 100% convinced that he was interested in taking part in the production. Once he found out who’s responsible for the scriptwriting though, that sealed the deal for him as he was apparently quite fond of the work of Terrio and saw him as a great choice for the writing of the new film.
That wasn’t all that motivated Affleck though – we would be surprised if that was the case anyway. Apparently, the actor is also fond of director Zack Snyder, and all in all he saw a lot of potential in the new production and saw it as something that could definitely be realized in a spectacular way if everyone involved played their cards right.
In the end, Affleck saw this as the perfect combination of features from all sides – between the writing, directing and all other features of the film, he apparently couldn’t have wanted it any other way. And this is important to the fans too, as it gives them some reassurance that Affleck is going to play his role as well as possible, if he’s that obviously inspired by everything surrounding the production.
Meanwhile, some additional details about the plot have come out to the public thanks to Zack Snyder himself, although of course he didn’t actually reveal the full nature of what we can expect from the film. According to Snyder, the film will focus on Batman himself initially, showing the path the character took to get to where he is in the story, and after that we’re going to see plot lines that combine his own story with that of Superman.
It’s also worth noting that Batman’s own fans should prepare for a very interesting experience and they shouldn’t associate this new character with the original Batman that they’re used to knowing from previous films in his franchise, as he will be reimagined quite a bit and will look significantly different.
There will be a lot of drama and rivalry in the relationship between the two characters, reports say, and we’re going to see different sides to both of them that we’re not used to. Because of this, the film should be a fresh experience for fans of both superheroes alike, and those who enjoy both of them similarly should definitely be in for an even more fun and exciting experience than they could imagine.
