Kim Kardashian is no longer the most followed person on Instagram. According to US Weekly, as of September 8, pop singer Taylor Swift has surpassed the reality star in terms number of Instagram followers and is now the reigning queen of the photo-sharing app.
Just last month, the “Wildest Dreams” singer ranked third in the most followed list with Kim Kardashian and Beyonce preceding her. Swift has now exceeded Kardashian’s 45.5 million followers and Queen Bey’s 45 million followers.
Taylor has yet to address her new status, but fans are assuming that her cats will definitely be involved in her thank-you message. As for the former title holder, after reaching the 45 million mark last week, the pregnant Kardashian shared a sexy snap of her cleavage to show her love and gratitude to her followers.
According to the Daily Mail, the 34-year-old reality star was recently spotted having tea with tennis pro Serena Williams in New York as they made the most out of Williams’ day off from the US Open.
The duo appeared like they were clearly enjoying each other’s company as they sipped on their cups and posed for a photo inside the posh Carbone restaurant. Kim clearly was delighted when she shared the photo on Instagram.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashian” reality star opted for a casual wear with a woolen jacket, a Ramones T-shirt, and ripped jeans while Serena showed off her curves wearing a boob tube, a blazer, and a skirt that definitely highlighted her shapely behind.
According to reports, the female athlete and the reality star talked about Williams’ fear on facing her older sister, Venus, in the court the next day. People reports that the younger Williams admits that her sister is one of the biggest obstacles on her quest to win a seventh US Open crown as well as a calendar Grand Slam.
The tennis player siblings met for the 27th time in the quarter-finals at Flushing Meadows where Serena prevailed over her sister making her Grand Slam dream closer to reality.
The 33-year-old tennis player is now just two victories away from joining Maureen Connolly, Margaret Court, and Steffi Graff as the only women to win all four major singles titles in a season.
With her newest victory and her Grand Slam victory just two wins away, Serena might invite Kim again for some tea time although the reality star might skip the offer this time.
According to E! Online, Kardashian’s current pregnancy has not been easy on her. Kim, who is expecting her second child with husband rapper Kanye West, is nearing the end of her second trimester. The couple, dubbed as Kimye, is expecting a boy.
Kim had contracted laryngitis toward the end of her first trimester. She also suffered nausea during both pregnancies and also had a heartburn when she was pregnant with North. Kim is due to give birth in December and she, Kanye, and their daughter North is all set to welcome the latest addition to their family.
E! Online reports that although her second pregnancy has been easier compared to her first, the reality star still doesn’t feel great and is often uncomfortable.
This comes as a news as the socialite has donned a lot of stylish maternity looks over the past two months. Her baby bump sightings have become a major peg for other expectant mothers to try on.
Her recent sighting even involved Kardashian experimenting on a Gothic look while out in New York. The mom-to-be donned an all-black ensemble and matched it with heavy leather boots and a velvet jacket.
While it doesn’t seem what Kim would normally wear but it looks like the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant inspired her younger sister Kendall Jenner to sport an all-black ensemble as well.
