‘Battlefield Hardline’ Next DLC to Feature a Weapon with a Science-Fiction Feel!

Game developer Visceral Games has announced in mid-August that its second DLC pack titled “Robbery” for the first-person shooter video game “Battlefield Hardline” will be coming out in September

Apart from a new game feature which the first expansion pack to “Battlefield Hardline” also brought, the second expansion pack will also have plenty of things for avid players of the game to really enjoy and find excitement running after criminals in a big way.

Accordingly, the new DLC will bring four new maps including The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7, a Squad Heist gameplay mode, four new weapons, three new gadgets, two new team vehicles along with new vehicle upgrades, new camouflage skins, and vehicle paints.

Visceral Games subsequently clarified a few days ago that the DLC will not just be coming with two new gadgets and four new weapons but actually three gadgets and five weapons including an assault rifle for the Operator’s criminal class that has a science-fiction feel to it, cites Youth Health Mag.

Accordingly, the rifle will be perfect for medium range combat and can perform with great accuracy because it can fire in 5.56 mm x 45 mm at 850 rounds per minute.

VG 24/7 listed the four other weapons that will come with the “Robbery” DLC including the shotgun for the Enforcer class, which is a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun ideal for close-in quarters combat; a sniper rifle for the Professional class, which is a semi-automatic rifle that shoots a .416 round and great for long-range combat; a sub-machine gun for the Mechanic class, which fires a 9-mm bullet and perfect for short-to-medium range fighting situations; and the sub-machine gun for all classes, which fires armor-penetrating rounds and ideal as well for short-to-medium combat.

New gameplay mode

Meanwhile, the upcoming Squad Heist gameplay mode that will come with “Robbery” is actually patterned on a similar gameplay titled Squad Rush on “Battlefield 4.”

In the gameplay mode, criminals will use a drill to break into two vaults and shall then call a helicopter to a secure location and make their escape. Since there are four new maps, Squad Heist will have a different setup for each map.

One of the gadgets that will come with the second DLC is the fire-resistant (FR) mask which will be available for the Operator class. The mask can reduce or eliminate fire damage from molotovs and incendiary grenades. The other is a CS gas launcher which shall be available for both operators and allows players to throw the gas at a longer distance. The third gadget will be the vehicle passenger healing, which allows Operators to heal injured team members.

Meanwhile, the two new vehicles that will come with the second expansion pack is the scout helicopter and the faction pickup trucks.

Visceral Games also announced a base game update will come to “Battlefield Hardline” with the “Robbery” DLC.

‘Criminal Activity’ DLC

Visceral Games launched the first expansion pack of “Battlefield Hardline” on June 16 officially titled “Criminal Activity.”

“Criminal Activity” is the first of four DLCs that the game developer has lined up for release before “Battlefield Hardline” turns one year in March of 2016.

The new content came with a new game mode, several new maps and new weapons which gave all the right reasons to gamers and fans to be happy about the game and the developer for releasing an update that soon.

However, there have been reports from some gamers on the PlayStation 4 who purchased “Battlefield Hardline” Ultimate Edition that they cannot access the DLC a few days after it was released.
