More than a year after ending 18 years of marriage, veteran actress Melanie Griffith appears to be moving on well from her split with Antonio Banderas and the disappearing tattoo on her upper right arm near her shoulder seems to be the perfect indication of it.
In the recent spotting of the 58-year-old actress when she attended an exercise class in Beverly Hills on August 8, the tattoo appears to be fading, which is what Antonio Banderas has become in her life now, cites the Daily Mail.
Apparently, Griffith has been employing laser treatment to remove the large heart-shaped tattoo emblazoned with Antonio’s name from the top of her right arm immediately after they announced their split on June 6, 2014.
After they broke up, it is very seldom for Melanie to show the tattoo and always has it covered when she’s out in public. It was only a few days ago that she decided to show it out in the open because it is already disappearing, indicating that she is moving on from her latest failed marriage.
Looking younger than her years
At 58 years, Melanie Griffith looks younger than her age when she was seen after her exercise class, wearing a Daft Punk vest over a black sports bra, light blue cropped leggings, and sneakers featuring shades of pink, orange, white and gray.
“The Shining” star also had her hair pulled back into a messy updo and covered her eyes with trendy cat-eye sunglasses. She was also holding her mobile phone and was in good spirits as she walked back to her car.
The actress marked her 58th birthday on August 9 and she celebrated it with her family. She shared the birthday get-together photo on her Instagram showing her 18-year-old daughter Stella Banderas by Antonio Banderas, 29-year-old son Alexader Bauer by Steven Bauer, and her famous mother Tippi Hedren, a one-time Hitchcock heroine and star of “The Birds,” details Hello magazine.
Melanie also has a 25-year-old daughter by Don Johnson, Dakota, who has shot to superstardom for her portrayal of Anastasia Steele in the hit movie “50 Shades of Grey.”
The veteran actress and her daughter Stella have been inseparable lately, maximizing their time together before the 18-year-old heads off to college. Stella graduated from high school in June and celebrated it with her mother and father which Melanie also shared in Instagram.
Amazing girlfriend
Meanwhile, Melanie’s best friend forever Kris Kardashian, better known before as Kris Jenner but decided to change back her surname to Kardashian after the transformation of Bruce into Caitlyn Jenner a few months ago, posted a loving birthday message on Instagram intended to the actress.
Kris called Melanie her beautiful, sweet, generous, talented, strong, super smart, and amazing girlfriend. The Hollywood businesswoman and reality star added that Melanie is so fabulous and she is just blessed for having her as a friend. She added that Melanie is a bright light to all who have the pleasure of knowing her for who she truly is before ending it with an ‘I love you Melanie!’
Kris also posted a black-and-white photo showing her and Melanie and cited that the image was taken by Dakota Johnson.
After 18 years of marriage, Melanie and Antonio decided to thoughtfully and consensually agree to end their life together in June 2014. The “Working Girl” actress immediately filed for divorce soon after which was finalized in July this year.
They seem to be in good terms even after breaking up. In an interview early this year, Antonio Banderas only has good words for his ex-wife and said that he will move on from the failed marriage but the memory shall linger, citing that most of his best years were spent with Melanie.
