Tesla Model X Coming to the Market in September, Already Pre-Ordered in Large Numbers, And More News

Interest in Tesla’s Model X is at its highest ever, as the company has recently announced that they’re finally ready to bring the car out to the market and enter another chapter in their history. The company has been putting a lot of effort into developing their product to its fullest and preparing it for the final push to the market, and after initially presenting it to the world three years ago in 2012, they ran into some delays and ended up having to postpone the release until this year.

There are various improvements packed in the new Model X, both in its body as well as the interior. The car is going to target a specific market class again, and it’s not going to be a cheap model by any means. It’s rumored that it’s going to be in a similar price bracket as its predecessor, the Model S, but we don’t know the exact details yet.

All we know is that a preorder for the car requires a deposit of $5,000, and according to reports there have been more than 20,000 preorders placed already. The company has apparently been able to handle the production of all reserved copies quite adequately, and they apparently will also be able to bring out more cars to the market for those who haven’t been able to make their initial claim.

We’re not sure how the situation with the availability is going to be like exactly, as it’s very possible that pre-orders are going to get their cars sooner than the rest, which only makes sense considering the hefty investment that they require. The company has released some shipping plans but we don’t know if they will be able to complete them fully

According to Elon Musk, those who’ve made their preorders should start getting their own cars by the end of September, and the company will put up their Model X configurator online during the next three weeks.

The company has been making some steady progress, and they’re moving towards their ultimate goal of making electric vehicles available to everyone at cheap prices. That was actually Elon Musk’s initial plan, despite him seemingly chasing after other goals with the high-priced Model S – and now Model X – but it’s no secret that Elon Musk is among the most innovative and savvy businessmen of today. So it was obvious that he had a solid plan for the company’s future, and knows what he’s doing.

The company needed to build up some solid financial foundation before they could mass-produce something of high enough quality to appeal to the masses, yet cheap enough to reach more people, and they seem to be getting closer and closer to that point. It’s been rumored that the next model released by Tesla will be the Model 3, the one that’s supposed to be produced at a cheaper and more accessible price and marketed to a wider audience.

However, that’s just a rumor and Elon Musk hasn’t confirmed that the Model 3 will follow the release of the Model X. This probably depends on the success of the Model X on the market, among other things – if the new car performs well enough to give the company some more financial stability, then they will probably be ready to push forward with a more mainstream model. We’re not sure what their exact technical plans for that are like, but we expect to hear about that in some more detail once the model comes closer to the market. Which, as we said above, is rumored to be well underway at this point, and we just have to see a successful launch for the Model X first.
