Assassin’s Creed has become one of the most popular video game franchises in the world and by the looks of the latest game play clip, the popularity is not going to drop any time soon. Assassin’s Creed was first available back in 2007 when it was released for the Microsoft Xbox 360 by Ubisoft. Later in the year, the game was released for the Playstation 3 and then in April of 2008, it was made available for the Microsoft Windows gamers out there.
As expected, the game received very good reviews from game critics all over the world and online. However, there were some that thought the game was a bit repetitive and did not really evolve as you played, which is something that keeps video game franchises like Grand Theft Auto alive with each release. It seemed like Ubisoft might have been reading closely because since that first game was released, the developers really stepped things up a notch, bringing an award game along with them.
This week, a clip for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been floating around the internet and it has been creating a good amount of buzz for gamers all over the world. The release date looks to be closer to October of this year and fans are going to be lining up all over the place to get some pre-order swag along with it. The game will be released for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One right away, with the Windows version of the game coming a few months later.
The latest game will be set in London, back in the year 1868, which happens to be during the Industrial Revolution. The game is setup to follow twins through the streets, fighting organized crime that is being controlled by the Templars. The game is going to be set just like the others, in a third-person style, open world layout that can be explored to the ends of the maps. There will be new traveling systems and refined combat that will keep gamer wanting more. As of right now, the game does not support any type of multi-player styled game play.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been featured in a clip that is shown on the UbiBlog and quickly runs you through the ten new features that fans are going to love. Along with the video clip, there are plenty of images that lead to hints about the new game. According to the highlight clip, gamers are going to be enjoying executions that are more cinematic and are triggered with the enemy is near death in the game.
