Actress Shailene Woodley is not a fan of couples who love to show off plenty of public displays of affection (PDAs). In a recent interview regarding the third film in the “Divergent” movie series, Shailene cited the special relationship between her character Tris and that of Theo James’ Four.
She said that fans of the movie franchise have loved Four and Tris because they support one another so much and also respect each other. She added that it’s sexier to see a couple that is not all over each other.
Shailene also explained that there is no point where Tris questions how Four will validate and reiterate his feelings for her because the two recognized who they are and how they can support each other, notes Jobs & Hire.
While rumors continue to persist that something special might be going on between them, both Theo and Shailene say that they are just good friends. However, even with their own pronouncements and the fact that they are respectively seeing different people, many of their fans still think that they have affections for each other.
In fact, that unspoken affection is what’s breeding their great chemistry on screen, which has been one of the major selling points of the first two “Divergent” films and will likely be capitalized upon by the two-part third movie of the series.
Theo said that Shailene is a much better person that he is and he is really impressed with the level of ethical ability of the actress and her continuous efforts in striving to become a better person. He added that Shai is 100% genuine in her own way and she is very real. He also cited that Shai does some of the things in a way that puts some people, including himself, to shame.
Simulation scene
Meanwhile, Veronica Roth, author of the “Divergent” novel, talked about how the simulation scene in the second film “Insurgent” opened a whole new perspective in the way she views the power of cinema.
She said that the movie was able to show the series of simulations in such great details making the scenes so much bigger, so much cooler, and so much strange than one can ever imagined in merely reading the novel.
Roth said it has been the best part for her in seeing the movie about her book because it only showed how huge and crazy the world has really become.
Intimate scenes
Theo James recently disclosed that there are a number of intimate scenes between Four and Tris in the upcoming third installment of the very successful “Divergent” movie series.
They have one intimate scene in the sequel “Insurgent” and according to Theo James, he really felt awkward that he even had to drink booze to be able to take on the scene.
He also shared that the most awkward thing that took place while they were filming the scene was when something had to be changed that the two of them had to freeze at the moment until they can finally move, details Movie News Guide.
James said that he really felt uneasy about it because they were completely naked and covered in sweat.
But Shailene Woodley is not bothered at all since she already had her fair share of bed scenes from previous movies including “The Fault in Our Stars,” where her co-star Suki Waterhouse, the former girlfriend of Bradley Cooper, thinks of her as an inspirational young actress in Hollywood.
The 23-year-old actress said that sexuality is a very normal part of life so the more that kind of normalcy is suppressed; the more people seek ways to fulfill their sexual needs.
