Apple iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Now Available Thanks to TaiG Tool!

Apple have recently released iOS 8.4, requiring a new approach to jailbreaking. And while it was rumored that the new crack is going to take some time as Apple have improved the security of the operating system with this installment, it didn’t really take that long – a jailbreak for iOS 8.4 is now available thanks to the TaiG team, and users who want to move on to the new version of the operating system and unlock its full capabilities should look into it.

The specific version of the tool needed is 2.3 – it comes with everything necessary to jailbreak a device running iOS 8.4. And while the TaiG team were the first ones to break the operating system’s protection, there will probably be more tools coming soon enough, now that this one has been made public.

It should be noted that TaiG are actually using an exploit known from before in their new jailbreak method, and it looks like people’s fears that Apple are going to plug that hole were unfounded. Of course, it wouldn’t be surprising if that issue does get addressed eventually, but at least for the time being, people can freely jailbreak their iOS 8.4 devices, all thanks to the TaiG tool.

The jailbreak community tends to be pretty open in the way they share information about the latest exploits and loopholes too, so it shouldn’t take long for this jailbreak method to propagate to other tools on the scene as well. However, TaiG are generally known for supporting their users and being very efficient in their development as a whole, so they are probably the best bet when it comes to a reliable jailbreak tool.

With version 2.3 of the tool, users can jailbreak all iOS devices, like the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, 5S and so on. As long as the device is running iOS 8.4, it can be jailbroken with the new tool. Users who aren’t familiar with jailbreaking and haven’t attempted it yet should definitely look into it as it can be highly beneficial, even if it sounds a little scary at first.

The basic idea is to unlock the device’s “hidden” features which are normally tucked away behind a protective wall in order to ensure that users don’t accidentally damage their devices. And that’s actually a possibility if the user is particularly careless and doesn’t follow instructions. Which is why it’s often recommended that jailbreaking is only performed by people with enough knowledge of the operating system, who would also know how to recover from a problem if they run into one.

Alternatively, a user can always get the jailbreaking procedure done by someone else, as many people are familiar with the process nowadays and it’s not very hard to find someone that can do it. It should be noted that jailbreaking voids the device’s warranty and Apple don’t look kindly on it, so those who rely on Apple for ongoing support may want to hold off on the process.

Other than that though, there isn’t much of a reason to stay away from jailbreaking, and as we said above, it can actually make the device a lot more useful and powerful by giving the user access to its full capabilities. There are many things that can only be done on a jailbroken iOS device and not one with the stock firmware, so it’s important to learn the benefits and weigh them against the risks carefully.
