The 19-year-old pop singer Austin Mahone is confident that his upcoming new single titled “Dirty Work” will take his career to the next level.
Apparently, the “Lovin’ So Hard” singer is not contented with the way his music career is going so he is changing tack and putting a new mature direction on it.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Mahone said that he is not satisfied with his career achievements thus far and would like to do more starting with the release of his new single “Dirty Work” very soon.
Although his career started off strong last year with the Top 10 debut of “The Secret” single and a summer concert tour that was in support of Taylor Swift, not much was heard from Austin Mahone except his flourishing romantic relationship with 18-year-old songstress Becky G.
Critics say that “Dirty Work” is Austin’s best and most ambitious single to date. They also believe that it will pave the way in highlighting the music talents and potentials of Austin Mahone which could be put in full display with his proper debut album.
The San Antonio, Texas native said that he is not quite sure when will his debut album officially drop, but he believes that it can happen anytime between this coming fall until the end of 2015. No wonder, he is confident that the second half of the year would be big for him.
He also hinted that he might probably put together a concert tour after his debut album is released. Austin said that he is already excited to hit the road again, the way he did in the summer of last year.
Celebrating Fourth of July with Becky G
Meanwhile, Austin Mahone and his girlfriend celebrated Fourth of July enjoying some poolside chilling.
The “What About Love” singer took to Instagram on July 4 to post a picture of him and Becky G having a good time near a pool. It was the couple’s way of sharing their patriotic serenity to the Americans who were marking Independence Day that time.
Although Austin does not say much about their blossoming relationship, Becky G is too open and really proud about it, details Heavy.
She said that she finds it really awesome that her fans are very supportive of her relationship with Austin and has been with her in the journey. She added that she is in such a happy and good place right now. She also believes that most people can see how happy she is now. Becky said that the good part of her being happy is she can actually share it to her fans and those who support her.
Coming out in the open
Although their relationship was initially highlighted by denials every now and then, the truth eventually came out in the open. Becky G confirmed in April that she and Austin Mahone is a couple. Subsequently, it was the turn of the 19-year-old heartthrob singer to admit that he is indeed dating the 18-year-old songstress.
In an interview while filming his new movie titled “Dirty Work,” which is also the title of one of his singles, Austin formally confirmed that he and Becky G are indeed dating.
He said that he feels pretty crazy about him and Becky G dating because he has never been into a real relationship before. He added that he feels great being in a relationship with someone who does the same thing he does because they both understand each other and understand what they do.
Austin also disclosed that he and Becky G have done a real cool music video together for her song “Lovin’ So Hard.” It was during the filming of the video that their relationship blossomed.
