Trust Kim Kardashian to give a new dimension to any occasion, including the celebration of the American Independence Day on July 4.
Although three months pregnant with her second child, the 34-year-old reality star posted her American pride during Independence Day on her Twitter account by showing herself wearing a one-piece swimsuit with all the colors, the stars, and the stripes of the American flag on it.
Kim accessorized her Independence Day beach look with a trucker hat that reads ‘Merica’ in it, an American flag-themed fanny pack, sequined flag booty shorts, and red, white, and blue tube socks, details US Weekly.
She captioned her image post by saying ‘Happy 4th of July’ to match the peace sign she gestured in the photo. Her more than 33 million followers on Twitter were sure amazed on how Kim Kardashian took patriotism to a whole new level.
The reality star also shared a funny shot of her rapper-husband Kanye West holding his hands up and posing in front of an American flag, which was excerpted from his “Otis” music video.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their second child, which has been discovered through a recent ultrasound to be a boy, by December. Their first born daughter, North, is now two years old.
Independence Day brunch
The West family celebrated Independence Day with a brunch at Cipriani in New York City. Kim and Kanye took turns in carrying their two-year-old daughter North, who seems to prefer being carried instead of walking by herself.
As the couple took turns in carrying their first-born, some kibitzers cited that they already have their hands full with North alone, what more with a new baby coming soon, cites the Daily Mail of UK.
But the family seems to be happy and enjoying their own Independence Day celebration. While Kanye was in casual jeans and a shirt, Kim was wearing a military style Balmain green blazer looking chic as ever.
North, on the other hand, was wearing a printed white T-shirt covered by a black blazer, complemented by black short, and black flat shoes.
New baby name
Kim and Kanye have yet to decide on what they intend to call their new baby when he is born in December. There have been insinuations just weeks after Kim got pregnant that Kim and Kanye, also known as Kimye, will go with South, which would be consistent with their elder daughter’s name. So after North West, comes South West.
But the couple came out quite recently to quash speculations that they would be naming their second child South. Kim and Kanye assured that the name of their baby would not have anything to do with the direction this time around. So the names South, East, or West are definitely out. Besides, West West for a full name would really sound absurd.
According to sources close to the couple, they will not even go with Easton or simply put, there would not be anything regarding direction at all in the baby name.
Kim and Kanye apparently want their baby’s name to be strong just like North which means always on top and pointing up.
The same sources said that the couple are leaning towards something more traditional and has some significance to their family or the families of Kim and Kanye.
The pregnancy of Kim Kardashian really took a long time to come. As early as last year, Kim and Kanye have been planning to have a second baby so that their eldest daughter North would have somebody to play with.
