Ariana Grande Character in Scream Queens Unlikely to be Survive Past Season 1!

Ariana Grande will be part of the upcoming American horror-comedy TV series “Scream Queens” which will debut on Fox on September 22.

The 22-year-old songstress will join an all-star cast in the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk anthology series featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourde, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels, Lea Michele, Nasim Pedrad, Glen Powell, Niecy Nash, Oliver Hudson, Diego Boneta, and Lucien Laviscount, plus a few more.

The series promises a perfect blend of cut-throat jokes and gory deaths where at least one character gets killed every episode.

Apparently, there will be a total of 25 cast members in all for Season 1. However, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who are the creators, writers, and directors of the upcoming TV series, disclosed that only four of them will survive as the show will figuratively and literally burn through its characters, notes The Hollywood Reporter.

Murphy added that the four cast members who shall survive Season 1 will move on to Season 2 of “Scream Queens” to a new horror genre. However, they will continue to play the same characters that they had in Season 1. Murphy specifically mentioned such point because it’s different with the other horror anthology series that he and Falchuk are also doing – the “American Horror Story.”

In the “American Horror Story,” cast members come back to the subsequent episodes or seasons not to reprise their previous roles but altogether take on new ones.

Murphy also disclosed that he will direct the first hour of the “Scream Queens” two-hour premiere while Falchuk will helm the second part.

It was actually Murphy who revealed in one interview previously that there is at least one cast member who will die for each of the 15 episodes of Season 1 of “Scream Queens.”

With only four of the cast members surviving after 15 episodes, there will be a total of 21 deaths in all. This means that a couple of episodes of the show will have more than one death of a cast member.

No fan voting

If it will be left to fan voting, it is likely that Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas or Lea Michele will be among those who will be voted to remain alive at the end of Season 1, as they are the ones who have the pulling power from their fans.

Unfortunately, there will be no fan voting and everything will depend on the script written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. So it is likely that the “Love Me Harder” singer will not be able to make the cut before the end of Season 1 of the series.

However, this is just speculation at this time since both Murphy and Falchuk or the production team have yet to reveal the details of any episode of the upcoming horror-comedy series.

New music

Meanwhile, Ariana Grande teased her new music titled “Moonlight” on her Twitter account on July 1.

It took the “Love Me Harder” singer three tweets on mid-day of July 1 in a span of four minutes to tease her new music which seemed like a fill in the blank test for her fans and followers on Twitter, notes MTV.

To most of her fans however, they found the lyrics shared by Ariana Grande as too cuddly and sweet as it seems that love is not lost on the 22-year-old songstress despite breaking up recently with 27-year-old former rapper-boyfriend Big Sean.

In her tweet, she intentionally left blank the phrase ‘holding me tight’ as she only mentioned ‘he knows just what it does when he’s’ and followed it after the series of dots or ellipses with ‘and he calls me moonlight too.’

The song is officially titled as “Moonlight” and it is a single from Ariana Grande’s upcoming album which shall also have the same title.

  1. It’s just ludicrous. I can’t believe that something like that would happen to my girl, Ariana Grande. I never knew about that damn thing.
