US Weekly magazine has exclusively reported on July 1 that Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Chris Martin have split for the second time amid previous reports that the relationship of the two are getting serious with insinuations that the Coldplay front man even wants the 24-year-old actress to move into his Malibu mansion in California.
But until Jennifer Lawrence or Chris Martin or their representatives confirm or deny this rumored break-up, this is merely speculation at this point in time.
The outlet did not specify the cause of the split but hinted that Jennifer Lawrence has been spending more time with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult as they are now busy filming “X-Men: Apocalypse” where they respectively play the roles of Mystique and Beast just like in the previous instalments of the franchise.
The report, however, mentioned that Jennifer Lawrence has been working non-stop and that is why she and Chris Martin rarely see each other again, thus causing the falling out and the second split in less than seven months.
Last year, J-Law and Chris Martin also broke up for a month before reuniting again in December. It is not clear this time if the break-up is momentary just like the last time or would be for good and that Jennifer is moving on with her ex-boyfriend considering that they are spending a lot of time together.
According to an insider, Jennifer and Nicholas are in great terms now and that their families have remained close even after they split.
Sometime in May, “X-Men: Apocalypse” Director Bryan Singer posted on his Instagram a selfie photo of himself with Jennifer and Nicholas subliminally hinting that the pair are back together again as co-stars and not as lovers.
If the rumor is true that the 38-year-old Chris Martin has been dating Kylie Minogue as they were recently spotted together going for a 1 am stroll in London, then it is curtains for the relationship of Jennifer and Chris. A representative of Kylie Minogue came out to deny that the two were dating.
Adding fuel to the flame
As if to add further fuel to the flame, the Daily Mail actually reported that former lovers Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult had a make-out session in the past movie “X-Men: Days of the Future Past” shown last year that did not make the final cut.
Apparently, the scene was quite amorous and steamy and pictures of it were posted by the outlet. Accordingly, the deleted scene had Jennifer bringing Nicholas in for a kiss as they enjoy a romantic rendezvous by the fire as they talk about each other’s perception of beauty.
J-Law as Mystique or Raven began the scene by saying that they should not have to fight off the things that come naturally to them and then goes for a passionate kiss to Nicholas as Beast or Hank McCoy, leading him to the floor.
Hank then grabs Raven’s behind and they both started transforming into their blue mutant forms. There were still a couple of dialogues exchanges before Beast finally said to Mystique that he thinks she’s beautiful and they make out.
But the scenes were not shown at all in “X-Men: Days of the Future Past” because it did not work technically in terms of the geography of how the movie was played out in the end, according to Nicholas Hoult last year in an interview with MTV.
One of the busiest actresses today
Jennifer Lawrence is one of the busiest actresses in Hollywood today. In addition to working on “X-Men: Apocalypse,” she is completing post-production work for the fourth and final “The Hunger Games” movie officially titled “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” due to hit theaters in November this year.
In an interview in May that if she will have her way, she wants another “The Hunger Games” movie after the fourth “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.”
And it seems the producers of the science-fiction adventure movie series based on the adventure novels written by American author Suzanne Collins are amenable to the idea of Jennifer Lawrence.
