Either Russian model and actress Irina Shayk is a magnet for controversy or she really thrives on it. Sometime in January this year, Irina broke up with Portuguese football superstar boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid on allegations that the athlete cheated on her.
The football superstar later on denied the cheating allegations but he was quite devastated with the breakup that his sister even branded it like death to his brother.
Cristiano Ronaldo hardly showed any trace of devastation or disappointment during his games in the Spanish premier league but it was around that time that his team Real Madrid was actually not playing up to par. But that is all gone now as Ronaldo’s team is back in the groove and is priming itself to win it all in La Liga BBVA.
A few months later, reports came out that Irina Shayk was having an affair with disgraced FIFA chief Joseph ‘Sepp’ Blatter which she later on denied with impunity, citing that those reports are pathetic and wholly unfounded, cites The Star.
The short-lived affair
It was actually El Mundo, a respected Spanish daily newspaper, who made the report about Shayk’s affair with Blatter in an article published on June 4 titled ‘All the Women in Blatter’s Life.’
Sepp Blatter had made the news lately after the FBI recently uncovered alleged corruptions in FIFA including fraudulent marketing and television rights, ticket scams, rigged presidential elections and bribery in the awarding of host cities.
The Swiss police has raided a luxury hotel in Switzerland on May 27, arresting seven FIFA executives but two days later, Blatter won the presidential election for a fifth time. Four days later, amid the controversy, Blatter said the he will step down from his post which he held on for 17 years. The former Swiss watchmaking executive has worked for FIFA for 40 years.
According to the article in El Mundo, the 79-year-old Blatter had a relationship with the Russian model after dating tennis player Ilona Boguska. The short-lived romance with Irina Shayk was followed with a relationship with 50-year-old Linda Barras.
Bradley Cooper relationship
The Russian model was also rumored to be dating Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper as of late but it seems that the actor does not want to be pulled into the controversial life of Irina Shayk or that he seriously takes his mother’s advice not to be seriously involved with the Russian model so he bailed out fast.
When the French publication Oops! magazine run a story late in May saying that the 40-year-old actor is dating Irina Shayk that also included pictures of the “American Hustle” actor passionately kissing the Russian model in New York City recently, Cooper decided to make a legal matter out of it by suing the publication for libel.
