Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is giving users of its 2014 flagship smartphone, the OnePlus One, in India an exciting offer to assure quick service or response to their complaints.
OnePlus has announced that it would ensure that all OnePlus One smartphones in India are serviced in a timely manner within 15 days.

OnePlus said in a statement that its latest move in India is the first across the consumer device landscape. It also stated unilaterally that all service-related issues on all OnePlus One smartphones in India to date that have faced delays or have been pending for longer than 15 working days in its support centers will get a three-month extension on their warranty.
To make things even sweeter for all future smartphones from the Chinese smartphone maker, the same service guarantee will apply to all its handsets, OnePlus assured.
Without OnePlus saying it, the service guarantee shall also apply to the upcoming OnePlus Two and the rumored OnePlus One Lite.
Global price cut
On June 1, OnePlus announced a global price cut on the OnePlus One. The global price cut on the OnePlus One, regarded as the most exciting Android phone of 2014, is actually an indication that its successor is about to come out very soon.
Current retail price for the 16GB silk white variant of the OnePlus One is about $350 while the 64GB sandstone black edition is valued at $410. The global price cut by OnePlus would see the new retail prices of the smartphones at $300 and $360 respectively or a $50 reduction.
Considering the features of the OnePlus One which came out with groundbreaking specifications at an affordable price, the $50 price cut was warmly welcomed by smartphone users on the hunt for a great but wallet-friendly handset.
OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch 1080-pixel resolution Full HD display and is only 8.9 millimeters thick. It is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor at 2.5GHz.
It also has a 3GB of RAM and a very generous 3100 mAH of battery. OnePlus One also boasts of a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper.
The Chinese smartphone maker assured its fans that OnePlus Two would have better features than its predecessor when it comes out in the second half of this year.
Two new handsets
As of April, reports indicated that the Shenzen-based smartphone manufacturer is planning to unveil two new handsets in the second half of 2015.
Instead of merely releasing the OnePlus Two for its high-end market, it will also be launching the OnePlus One Lite to cater to the low-end or budget-conscious market.
The decision of OnePlus to go for both extremes of the market is a smart move because it has already engaged the interest and established a specific fan base in the high-end segment with its OnePlus One smartphone.
