Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015 wrapped up last week with hardly any word, clue, or hint about the upcoming iPhones from the American tech company.
The only semblance of a topic in the event which has a bearing on Apple’s next iPhone is the preview on the iOS 9, whose upcoming features may seem to have indicated also the upcoming upgrading on the American tech giant’s next set of iPhones.
There are two major rumors going around these days regarding the next flagship smartphones of Apple. The first rumor states that the American tech giant would be releasing the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus come September, which is normally the month when Apple launches its latest smartphones. The other rumor indicates that Apple would be launching three flagship smartphones including the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus, and the iPhone 6C.
With the supposed leaked on the iPhone 6C in the last week of May, the new rumor bolster the first set of rumor about the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. But instead of two, there will be three types of iPhone 7 coming along including the iPhone 7C.
Again, since Apple is keeping mum about its next set of iPhones, these are just speculations at this time and it is likely that people will get to know the truth when the company finally unveils its smartphone offerings come September.
Improving the iPhone’s front camera
Based on the recent tweet of a certain developer, an iOS 9 code has hinted that Apple is currently planning the future of the upcoming iPhone’s camera which would sport remarkable features including a 1080p resolution, a 240 fps slow motion, and a panoramic capture flash, reports Network World.
Although the iPhone is one of the most popular smartphones in the world, the quality of its front-facing camera actually pales in comparison to Samsung as well as with some other Android handsets and tablets too.
The front-facing snapper of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus can only capture video in 720- resolution and cannot support shooting slow-motion video or panoramic photos. It does not have a flash on its front-facing camera either.
The upgrade to the front-facing camera of the current iPhone would actually make the iPhone 7 or the iPhone 6S a selfie heaven as it shall also come with selfie apps and dedicated selfie sticks for taking single and group photos. It shall also improve the iPhone’s FaceTime camera.
A 4-inch iPhone
There has been a recent twist to the iPhone 7C rumor as the new 4-inch iPhone is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2017 and not September, which makes it rather off-target since it has been the tradition of the American tech giant to launch its iPhones in September since 2012.
The drawback in this iPhone 7C rumor is that Apple has released an iPhone 5C previously and if it will skip iPhone 6C and go straight to producing an iPhone 7C, it would really put the American tech company in an awkward position.
