It was only a few months ago when developer CD Projekt RED announced that they are going to provide a new patch for “The Witcher 3” only to find out that there are new bugs and glitches that continue to hound the game.
The new glitch was said to be preventing users from gaining experience points after completing different quests and they end up getting over-leveled or under-leveled.
The issue has become a big challenge for the game developer because gamers are already posting this problem to different forums and sites. The game developer said it has acknowledged this problem and is now working hard to fix the issue.
CD Projekt RED also posted on the forum section of its website and briefly discussed the bigger viewpoint of the issue. If a gamer is trying to tackle quests and not getting any experience points, it is not the bug’s fault entirely. The game is not rewarding users any experience point if they are accessing quests that are six levels (or more) lower than theirs. Their current level and any other level above should reward them with experience points.
This somehow makes sense because if a player has already reached Level 7 and is trying to go back to Level 2 just to gain some experience points, it would almost be like cheating. At some point, not providing experience points to those who access the lower levels encourages the gamers to explore their current level so they could improve and level up.
After the post, CD Projekt Red announced that they have found the bug which prevents users to gain XPs. They have not stated if the bug was already fixed but they said that they are still working on it.
Meanwhile, the game developer just resolved a couple of issues that were reported in Xbox One previously.
The issue was reported by multiple users on the “The Witcher 3” forum and most gamers said that the console disables the auto-saving and manual saving function without notifying the player. This has been one of the biggest issues of the game since its launching that angered many gamers as most of the hours they have played have been lost. This could also be related to “The Witcher 3” being a huge open-world role-playing game.
CD Projekt RED already acknowledges this problem and said that it will be releasing a patch soon.
Last month, the game developer released the patch for the PC version that improved the game’s rendering quality. The patch also includes the ability to rebind keys, fix boat stuttering, fix the username issue regarding non-Latin characters and enlarge the game icon.
“The Witcher 3” is CD Project RED’s third and last game about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The game is set in the ruins left by the events from “The Witcher 2.”
