PlayStation Plus Subscribers Get Four Free Games in June for PlayStation 4 Because of Cross-Buy Support

It is typical for PlayStation Plus subscribers to get six free games every month, two for each platform. The three different PlayStation platforms are the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation Vita.

For this month however, there will still be a total of six free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers but PlayStation 4 owners will get four free games as a result of cross-buy support. PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita still get two free games apiece.

The four free games on PlayStation 4 for PlayStation Plus subscribers include “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes,” “Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-a-Fide Edition,” “Super Exploding Zoo,” and “Futuridium EP Deluxe.”

The two free games for PlayStation 3 owners with PlayStation Plus subscription are “Call of Juarez: Gunslinger” and “Cloudberry Kingdom.”

For the PlayStation Vita, the free games are “Super Exploding Zoo” and “Futuridium EP Deluxe,” the same two which are also available for PlayStation 4 owners.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can get all six games from the PlayStation Store beginning June 2 until the first week of July and the games is theirs to keep for as long as they maintain their subscription, details Gamespot.

Triple A game

PlayStation Plus subscribers have been clamoring for a Triple A game from Sony Computer Entertainment because the last time that a high-profile game title came out was in December when it offered “Injustice: Gods Among Us.”

PS Plus members have since been missing a free Triple A game title as most of the free games that come out in the following months were mostly from independent game studios.

They were also expecting that Sony will unravel a Triple A game since June is the month for the Entertainment Electronic Expo (E3) 2015 which is normally where game developers take centerstage.

Instead of giving preview to its June free game line-up for PlayStation Plus members, Sony disclosed the list of video games which PlayStation offered at huge discounts for PlayStation Plus members for the month of May.

The PlayStation blog also posted a list of the other games that Sony is giving away at special discount prices for PlayStation Plus members last month.

However from the looks of the current Instant Game Collection (IGC), it looks like the Triple A game that subscribers have long been waiting and wanting for from Sony has yet to arrive. It is not clear when will Sony finally roll out one but they are hoping that it would be soon.
