Johnny Depp might not have much time to take in the rules when flying around the world, but after a recent visit to Australia, he might want to make sure he is not going to be breaking any laws before he arrives. Johnny Depp And Amber Heard flew into Australia in a private jet, as usual, and brought along their two dogs for the trip. Usually there is nothing wrong with “mom and dad” bringing the pups along, but Australia did not see it the same way.
According to one report, the Agriculture Minister in Australia, Barnaby Joyce, told the actor that his dogs were to be put down if there were not flown out of the country immediately. The Depp’s did not just bring their dog children along, they “smuggled” them into the country, which is apparently a big no-no. Granted, once you learn the reason that Joyce had the dogs removed, you might be clapping on the inside.
There are strict laws in Australia about bringing animals into the country and most of them have to do with keeping disease at bay. If and when you do bring a dog from the United States, it must spend at least 10 days in quarantine, according to this law. Having smuggled his own dogs in and past anyone that would have certainly made sure the dogs were quarantined, the Depp’s cause a little stir. The Depp’s were in the country to celebrate the 16th birthday of Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose.
Those that worked with Depp and Heard to get the dogs back out of the country thought the entire situation was a little more dramatic than it had to be. The issue is that celebrity media will take a shot at whomever they can get their hands on anytime it is possible. Johnny Depp And Amber Heard are not left out of that spotlight at all. With all of the dog drama behind the couple, they could finally attend the birthday party and show Lily-Rose how much they loved her.
Johnny Depp did not have Lily-Rose with Amber Heard, so meeting up with Lily-Rose’s real mom might have been a little tricky for some. Vanessa Paradis is the mother of the child and most of the public would like to know if they clawed each other’s eyes out. Of course, they did not and the both acted like grown up adults while at the party. The birthday party was at Ago resturant on the 27th of May and it was a special occasion as more Sweet 16 parties are. Lily-Rose might not have been having the same feelings about it calling it a “sour 16” on Instagram.
