Rockstar’s Development Studio Has 45 Years Worth of Ideas for ‘GTA 6’

It has been previously reported that “Grand Theft Auto 6,” the sixth installment to the most popular and successful open-world action-adventure video game franchise in the world would most likely be released to the next-gen gaming consoles either in 2018 or 2019.

And that the earliest that the game developer could start talking about the details of the upcoming video game is either on 2016 or 2017.

It is assumed therefore that around this time the developer may already be busy working on the game, if not its development studio.

It has become a norm among game developers of today to have their respective development studios to help them out in the initial development of their new games.

For Rockstar, it is Develop Studios, which confirmed as early as last month that it is already toying with a lot of ideas for the development of “GTA 6.”

According to Leslie Benzies, president of Develop Studios, their company has ideas that could get the game running for a long time and for generations to come, cites KpopStarz.

He added that Develop Studios has about 45 years worth of ideas that they we want to do and used in the game. He also disclosed that they still don’t know what “GTA 6” will be but they sure do have some ideas about the upcoming video game.

Benzies said that everything comes from the ideas first. The location of where it is going to be set should be the first question. From there, the missions can then be defined. The map and story get worked up together and the story is just a basic flow of how it works out so the player can layer the mission, he disclosed.

Heigthened interest

Interest on the “GTA 6” began to heighten all the more last month following the release of the “GTA 5” on the PC after five months of waiting by gamers.

Now that gamers and fans are no longer waiting for anything related to “GTA 5” or the long awaited but otherwise truly worth it online heist DLC, focus is now on the upcoming edition of one of the world’s most popular, if not the most popular, video game of all time.

As usual, Rockstar has not been making any official announcement or statement to confirm or deny reports about the “GTA 6,” which only propels the speculations all the more.

But what is pretty much confirmed as far as game experts are concerned is that “GTA 6” would certainly be bigger than its predecessor considering the significant improvements that Rockstar has been giving its game for every upgrade.

As early as last year, there have been talks about the location of the “GTA 6,” which shall reportedly no longer be in Los Santos or Blaine County but instead on certain reputable cities in the United States. Among those that were brought forth were Portland, Chicago, and also Texas though those are still unconfirmed.
