Upgraded Motorola Moto G2 Comes with Better Camera and Larger Screen

Aside from 4G LTE connectivity, the upgraded version of the Moto G 2nd Generation also referred to as Moto G2 comes with a much-improved camera and a larger screen that makes it a worthwhile update from its previous edition.

It’s not a groundbreaking update compared to its first edition and less comfortable to hold too but the fact that its bigger means that users get to have their money’s worth physically.

With a big screen comes a decent display quality and for its price, the Motorola Moto G2 surely has the superb value, notes Tech Radar.

However, it also comes with a few downsides compared to the first Motorola Moto G released by the American tech company in 2013. In addition to lower sharpness and slightly disappointing battery life compared to the Motorola Moto G, the Motorola Moto G2 is a little chunky and also has an average sound quality.

High on connectivity and affordable too

But the downsides to the updgraded smartphone are more than offset by its new capability of supporting 4G LTE connectivity. The even better news is that it’s not as expensive as the current list of flagship mobile devices that offer the same kind and level of connectivity to its users.

Apparently, with the 4G LTE connectivity, the latest variant of the Motorola Moto G2 becomes an even better midrange smartphone that the American tech company brandished it to be when it first came out in September last year.

The new connectivity feature allows the Moto G2 to connect to LTE bands and help meet the growing requirements for 4G LTE connectivity among the current crop of smartphone users for their everyday data and communication needs.

The new feature of the Motorola Moto G2 is certainly a whiff of fresh air in an otherwise oversaturated market for mid-range handsets.

What is more noteworthy is the fact that the latest variant of the Motorola Moto G2, as a mid-range handset, is actually cheaper compared to the various flagship smartphones exuding the same 4G LTE capabilities available in the retail markets today.

With the growing popularity for the use of LTE combined with the excellent support provided by the carriers, it’s really good that Motorola Moto G2 and a few other budget handsets are getting access to the 4G network.

Best-selling smartphone

The new Motorola Moto G 2nd gen retained most of the features of its earlier version and apart from the 4G and LTE capabilities, the other two major differences are that the current model is coming out of the box with Android 5.0 Lollipop on it with possibly free upgrade to Android 5.1 Lollipop, and of course its price.

Due to its premium features and very affordable price, the Motorola Moto G 2nd gen turned out to be the best-selling smartphone in Motorola’s history.

When it was released in September last year, the Motorola smartphone became one of the most powerful mobile devices in the market and practically went at par with the flagship smartphones of Samsung and Sony.
