Chevrolet didn’t have to put a lot of effort into spreading the word about their new Camaro, as there was immediately a lot of attention towards the announcement as soon as they showed it to the world. And even though there were some questionable reactions to the news at first, most critics and fans seem to agree that this is a good move by the company, as long as the model actually manages to live up to the hype.
What does it offer exactly? According to critics, there have been various positive changes in the configuration/design of the Camaro, and they can all be felt as soon as one sits down behind the wheel. The seating position has been changed a little, and there’s now a new lower dashboard that can help with visibility on the road, unlike the older one which had the tendency to cause some problems.
It also handles quite well on the road, with great suspension, handling and braking, and some critics were actually particularly fond of the quality of the suspension. The brakes have been improved quite a bit, according to most who have had a chance to sit behind the wheel of the Camaro, and they specifically compared them to those in the 2015 model, with most reviewers stating that the difference is clear and the car now actually feels like it has some power to its stopping.
This was a common criticism towards the 2015 Camaro in the first place, and the new brakes of the reengineered model apparently add a lot to the quality of its riding experience. There is no annoying fade, nor any softness in the pedal, and the car feels just as responsive as it should.
On the other hand, there is also the feeling that the platform as a whole is lighter than the one used before, something which can be felt in every facet of the car’s dynamics. It’s gentle when driven in a more conservative way, but also sufficiently aggressive when the driver really wants to get something more out of it.
With all this in mind, is the new Camaro worth a look? It’s actually a bit strange but we’re finding it hard to find any negative opinions about the new model at all. Most of the criticisms seem to be aimed at either minor details that are irrelevant in the full picture, or based on subjective matters of opinion that shouldn’t be considered as real criticism in general.

they are definitely trying way too hard
