‘Clash of Clans’ to Momentarily Take a Break to Fix Bugs on iOS and Android Platform

The freemium mobile MMO (massively multiplayer online game) strategy video game “Clash of Clans” will temporarily sign off from mobile devices to undergo server maintenance soon which seeks to fix bugs and other issues that were previously reported by gamers on both the iOS and the Android platforms.

Finnish game developer Supercell announced on May 18 that its very popular mobile strategy game will undergo maintenance to fix some major bugs as well as significantly improve gameplay.

Yibada notes that the maintenance of “Clash of Clans” shall also end the training bonus for Hog Riders and Balloons.

The advisory on gamers was announced in the “Clash of Clans” official Twitter account which said that the game’s maintenance break will soon be coming and that gamers have their last chance to train those Hog Riders and Balloons in half the time for half the cost.

New update rolling out soon

The latest update on “Clash of Clans” will be rolled out to both iOS and Android versions of the game which include additional features for the Clan Perks. Players can now work on improving their respective clan’s level and earn various perks as well as badges.

The new update shall also enable players to upgrade their Cannons up to level 13. It shall also allow players who are currently members of a clan but want to leave can do so without any difficulty or problem or prerequisites just like in the past.

The roll out of the Clan Perks has triggered the emergence of several bugs which is what Supercell will be addressing in the upcoming maintenance.

The developer also disclosed that the Clan XP bug which does not reward gamers with the correct XP at the end of the Clan wars has already been addressed from a previous maintenance. It also fixed the visual effect of Dragon fire breath attacks.

In addition, players shall no longer be able to see Teslas on other players’ profiles. The recent maintenance has also fixed the reported ‘Accept’ button error whenever players are requesting to join a clan.

Supercell has also fixed the reported loading problems on the iOS platform as reported by several gamers on Apple mobile devices.
