What Will Gran Turismo 7 Introduce to the Series? Let’s See!

“Gran Turismo” remains one of the most popular and best known names in the world of racing games, and even though the last installment in the series was slightly disappointing to some fans, there is still a lot of interest in the franchise as a whole, and many fans are hopeful to see the new game reviving their interest and trust in the developer. And from what we’ve heard right now – which is mostly in the form of rumors – the new game is going to be a fantastic experience and earn back the glory of the franchise’s name.

So far, the title is expected to come out in 2017 if everything goes smoothly with its development. However, it will probably have a lot more competition than its developers originally expected, as various new games have come out that are threatening to dethrone “Gran Turismo” from the top spot in the racing simulation genre. “Project Cars” was a very successful recent release which is looking like a strong contender for the title right now.

One of the areas where the developers of the game are reportedly focusing their efforts is the audio quality, as they want to make it a particularly strong point of this title. The studio seems serious about their intentions with this too, as they have actually hired Mike Caviezel, an expert on audio who previously worked as an audio director on the “Forza Motorsport” franchise and has built up quite a lot of experience in the industry already.

And indeed, “Forza Motorsport” is a franchise that has always been known for its exceptional audio quality, so we expect to see – or hear – great things from the upcoming “Gran Turismo 7”. Many fans may not realize this, but audio quality can be a particularly important feature in a game that’s all about immersion, and this has definitely been a strong point in the “Gran Turismo” series in general.

Today, we have even better hardware to play our games on as well, and that includes better audio equipment among many players. This, coupled with a proper experience on the graphics front, can easily make this game an amazing product that will immediately fall right in the middle of the spotlight.

And from the teasers we’ve seen so far, it might indeed turn out that this game looks amazing. The “Gran Turismo” franchise is known for its visual fidelity in general, but this game might very well be one of the industry leaders in the graphics department, and we’re very excited to see how it turns out.

  1. I own project cars, solely because there is no other good racing game out their. I will either buy gt7 when it comes out and play that 90% of the time or straight up trade in my copy of project cars to get gran turismo 7. It always has been and will be the best racing installment. No other game offers the kind of excitement and competitiveness along driving games. you had to pass driving courses in gt4 just to get to other tracks and drivers/unlocking cars. The whole thing of unlocking cars by buying them with in game currency is what makes it the game It Is.
