Ciara has been hard at work lately, and her latest album “Jackie” just came out in the beginning of this month. While some of her fans had a somewhat skeptical attitude towards the new release, the album was actually surprisingly good and was met with favorable reviews all around. There were some critical opinions about it from some sides, and it wasn’t Ciara’s strongest work to date according to most, but it still managed to leave a good impression overall.
The album covers various themes, but it mostly focuses on love topics such as breakups, the physical side of love, as well as social status. She’s also maintained a very solid presence in the songs on the album and it definitely feels loaded with a lot of energy, according to most reviewers. Ciara simply knows how to pull off a good act, and it shows again, and this album has actually pushed her aggressive side to the limit.
Indeed, only one of the 16 songs on the new album has a more mellow, softer tone, with the rest following a more upbeat style and tempo and a generally different style than “I Got You”, her ballad on motherhood. The album isn’t without its remixes as well, of course, so fans of Ciara’s work who love to hear it reimagined through other musicians should love this release just as much as her previous albums.
Meanwhile, there have been some questions regarding the relationship between Ciara and Russell Wilson, but from what we can tell, it’s actually still going pretty strong. Ciara was recently spotted with her partner at The Palm, where they took up the famous power booth of the restaurant, one concealed from the eyes of the public, and had a great time during the night. Ciara arrived with her friends coming in late in the evening and stayed through the night, and reportedly everyone was in a good mood and enjoyed their dinner.
At one point, about an hour after Ciara herself settled down, Russell Wilson also arrived and made a spectacular entry that was quickly noted by everyone present and news of the event started circulating social media. Ciara herself was apparently quite impressed with the whole event and the two of them seemed more in love than ever before, according to witnesses.
They haven’t been very public about the status of their relationship, so most of what we know about it has been from various sources around the couple. From what we can tell so far though, they have been building a very strong bond and there’s no indication that their relationship will get weaker anytime soon.
