Developer Electronic Arts (EA) of the life simulation video game “The Sims 4” has just released a patch note on May 4 which it called as the ‘May the 4th be with you’ update.
Given the intonation of the patch note name to the familiar ‘May the Force be with you’ line from the “Star Wars” movie franchise, the update actually honors the series by making available three new costumes for player sims.
These are Boba Fett, Darth Maul, and Jedi Master Aayla Secura. The three new additions make a total of seven existing costumes from the “Star Wars” universe in “The Sims 4,” that previously included the likes of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker’s rebel fight suit, Princess Leia, and a Yoda tunic designed for children sims, notes Youth Health Mag.
Donning the new “Star Wars” get-ups would give the players’ sims the ability to scare their neighbors off their wits and feet.
Influencing baby gender
In addition to the new “Star Wars” costumes, the ‘May the 4th be with you’ patch note also comes with another unique feature where sims can actually influence the gender of their baby before birth.
Apparently, if player sims want to have a baby girl, they should eat strawberries more often and listen to pop music. But if they want to have a baby boy, they should eat carrots and listen to alternative music.
The update also brought forth several bug and issue fixes both for PC and the Mac. It has addressed problems with both ‘Get to Work’ and ‘Outdoor Retreat’ expansion packs that were released previously.
It has also solved the general issues with interface as well as the typical run-of-the-mill crash and freeze problems.
Career path
Last month EA released the expansion pack titled “The Sims 4: Get to Work” which features new career paths for gamers that they would surely find enjoyable. The new career paths include a doctor, a police man, and a scientist.
In addition to these three new professional occupations for gamers, the expansion pack also comes with some special skills for some Sims as well as environment and outdoor activity upgrades.
The latest expansion pack for “The Sims 4” was first announced by EA in February but it was only confirmed and released in April much to the delight of gamers of the widely popular video game.
