Filming for the fifth season of the legal drama TV series on the USA Network is now on full swing and most likely wrap up anytime soon.
The show is expected to hit the small screen next month with its Season 5 premiere already set on June 24 at 9 pm over the USA Network.
While Season 4 of “Suits” had a rather tearful finale, fans already expect that the fifth season would come out in summer with a big bang especially with its ever expanding world for every episode as it showed in the previous season, notes Hypable.
The show was renewed for Season 5 as early as August 11 last year and according to USA Network, it shall also have 16 episodes just like its previous season. It was also the network which announced the premiere date of Season 5 during a statement released last month.

There have been no other detail or report regarding the goings on in the set of “Suits” Season 5, new plots, new characters, or the like from the USA Network thus far and most fans only rely on the recent Instagram posts of Patrick J. Adams, who is playing Michael ‘Mike’ Ross in the series, and Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna Roberta Paulsen, for some news.
Last month, Patrick Adams shared a close-up picture of him as Mike Ross looking good as ever while Sarah showed an image of Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter from the viewer of a camera. She captioned the image by saying that they have kicked off filming of “Suits” Season 5 with the guy on the camera viewer.
If there’s any consolation to those rather hollow Instagram posts, the good news for fans is that the two lead actors of “Suits” will be back for Season 5 and they will likely continue to become the centrepieces of the show.
What to expect for Season 5
With the engagement of Mike and Rachel towards the close of Season 4, it is expected that Season 5 will see the couple planning their wedding.
Mike would probably take Harvey as his best man but they might have an eventual falling out again and he will opt out.
Critics also believe that Robert Zane should have a bigger role for Season 5 of “Suits.” He is the biggest threat to Mike Ross’ fraudulent life so having a meatier role for Mr. Zane would really keep the show quite interesting and fans always on the edge of their seats.
