Adam Lambert to do Concert Tour if People Like His Upcoming “The Original High” Album

The last time Adam Lambert had a concert tour was back in 2010 during his Glam Nationalm Tour in the US to promote his debut album titled “For Your Entertainment” launched in 2009.

For some reasons, he was not able to do a concert tour on his second album titled “Trespassing” when it was officially released in 2012 but he did have a short run of shows in Asia and Eastern Europe in early 2013.

With the upcoming release of his third album titled “The Original High” on June 16, Adam Lambert says that he will be hitting the road again via a concert tour if people warmly receive his latest album, cites Billboard.

If the positive fan reception to the first cut of his “The Original High” album titled “Ghost Town” released on April 21 is any indication, then Adam Lambert may likely be hitting the road again after the album is launched.

Three years in the making

It has been nearly three years since the “American Idol” Season 8 runner-up had his music which mostly came from his second album “Trespassing.”

“Ghost Town” thus came like a thirst-quencher to Lambert’s fans who have been longing to hear new music from him. The good news is that there will be even more new music coming along when “The Original High” hits records stores and music streaming services beginning on June 16.

Prior to its release, Lambert has been teasing his new single through social media. “Ghost Town” features a catchy whistle hook, while going between soft verses and a deep house chorus.

Fans in the US of Adam Lambert shall be able to get a copy of the digital track of “Ghost Town” if they pre-order “The Original High” album on iTunes. But the digital version of the single shall be released in the UK on June 7 yet.

Lambert describes his new album as dance-y but bittersweet. He also disclosed that the lyrics to most of the songs in his new album are a little darker compared to cuts in his previous albums.

“The Original High” album is Adam Lambert’s third album since 2009 but only his first since he signed a new deal with Warner Bros Music. The new album is the follow-up to 2012’s “Trespassing.” The new album is completely produced by Max Martin and Shellback.
