Big Hero 7? Sequel to Big Hero 6 Possibly Happening, According to Stan Lee!

“Big Hero 6” was a very popular animated film by Disney that went on to be recognized by the Academy, and many people have been asking about the possibility for a sequel ever since the original came out. While there have been various rumors going around, we never got anything concrete. But now, Stan Lee seems to be claiming that the sequel is definitely planned, and coming at some point in the future.

The President of Marvel revealed some details about future plans for various franchises owned by the company, and said that after “Ant-Man”, they will be experimenting with different ideas for “Doctor Strange”, “The Black Panther” as well as “Inhumans”, and afterwards they would return to “Big Hero 6”, “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” and other big names.

This has been very encouraging news for many fans, as not all rumors concerning “Big Hero 6” were positive. There was also the occasional rumor that the possibility for a sequel has been denied by the studio, but thankfully this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Genesis Rodriguez, one of the voice actors for the previous film, also expressed confidence in the possibility for a sequel, stating that the popularity of the original film is an obvious indication that the studio would be interested in making another one.

Some of the rumors about the sequel include the possibility that Tadashi isn’t actually dead, and those rumors have been further fueled by the fact that the character’s body was apparently never found. Even more, some are claiming that Tadashi will actually become a villain, which would definitely be one of the more interesting plot twists in a film to come out of the studio.

Most of what we’re hearing about the sequel so far sounds entirely plausible, and we wouldn’t be surprised if many of those rumors turned out to be true in the end. Of course, there’s no way to know for sure until we get some actual information about the sequel. Some have been speculating that it might be called “Big Hero 7”, which doesn’t sound implausible.

And of course, ever since Stan Lee talked about the studio’s future plans for this sequel, fans and critics alike have been wondering if we’re going to see the full cast of the original coming back (at least for characters where it makes sense), or if they will be trimming down the character set and adding more new ones. The sequel to a major movie like this should definitely come with some fresh changes, and the studio shouldn’t be too afraid to take some risks – especially when it comes to the plot and characters.
