Duck Dynasty Musical Played in Vegas Brought Willie Robertson to Tears!

“Duck Dynasty” recently went to Las Vegas to present a brand new musical titled “Duck Commander”, which was of course highly anticipated by the crew’s fans, and brought in a large audience. And not very surprisingly, the production was an absolute hit and surpassed the expectations of many fans and critics attending.

Willie Robertson also made a surprising appearance at the event, just as FOX411 were trying to get a closer look at the backstage. And he was apparently quite touched by the musical and was brought to tears by it in the end, as it brought back many memories for him, of how he had to make various tough decisions together with his family while they were on their way to the top.

While watching the show, he got various thoughts running through his head about how things could have been different if they had made another decision at various points – but in the end, their story is what it is, and he sticks by it. Willie Robertson also seems to believe that the musical does a better job at digging into the family’s life, as it shows some of the more private struggles that they had to go through to get where they are.

One of the things that he was happy to see represented to honestly in the musical was the struggle with the media that the family was constantly going through, as the public eye was always closely focused on the activities of the family. This was given a lot of attention in the musical, and Robertson was apparently happy with the way the story was presented.

According to him, the musical is not just good for people involved with his family’s life, however – he believes that anyone could benefit from watching it, as it describes a story that many people can relate to. Family struggles and the problems of life are a common topic among all families, and “Duck Commander” is definitely a production to be appreciated.

Jeff Calhoun, who directed the production, said that he was excited to take on the project, as he wanted to give that honest look into the life of the family, and it was indeed his goal to make the depiction as realistic and true to the original as possible. And judging by the responses – not just from Willie Robertson but everyone as a whole – he has done an amazing job and deserves a lot of praise for his work. Of course, it’s not just him – the whole show was set up amazingly as a whole and it’s clear that everyone involved has put a lot of hard work into it, and in the end, it all paid off.

  1. I hope the Robertson family enjoys much success with their Vegas show. I will never be in Vegas, so I won’t be seeing it.
