Game developer Bungie is preparing to roll out the second expansion pack of first person shooter video game “Destiny” titled “House of Wolves” on the current and next gen gaming consoles on May 19.
Apart from screenshots, the developer has also released the prologue trailer for the “House of Wolves” that surely had fans of “Destiny” really excited about as they have actually been waiting for it since the start of the year.
The first expansion pack to “Destiny” titled “The Dark Below” arrived in December but gamers still believes that five months in between the first and second expansion packs are such a long time. Gamers could hardly wait for the next wave of challenges that they are going to meet in the game’s second expansion pack.
No raid activity
There have been reports that “House of Wolves” would have a new raid similar to the one that was featured with “The Dark Below.” But Bungie just confirmed that the second expansion pack would not have the raid activity, notes Cinema Blend.
In a statement released on April 13, Bungie disclosed that “House of Wolves” will not have a raid activity but averred that they did not make the decision lightly.
Bungie added that the development team was overwhelmed by the positive response to the Raids that they put into the game last year that they are now in fact creating a new Raid for release later in the year.
Prologue trailer
The 100-second prologue trailer of “House of Wolves” is being narrated by the Awoken Queen of the Reef, voiced by Kirsten Potter. She recounts that after showing the Fallen mercy, the Awoken were still betrayed.
She has offered the riches of the realm as bounty for Guardians to come into her kingdom and exact vengeance on the Fallen.
The trailer somehow confirms that the Reef will now be a playable area in the “House of Wolves” which is a cause for celebration as well as excitement for gamers.
“House of Wolves” will still have a new co-op endgame activity called the “Prison of Elders,” which is a co-op battle Arena focused on variety, replayability, and skill.
Bungie has likewise announced the schedules of the following disclosures that it is planning for gamers about “House of Wolves” so that they get enlightened more about it before it hits the consoles on May 19.
The developer is planning a walking tour of the Reef with live discussion on April 22, a reveal and gameplay of “Trials of Osins” on April 29, and reveal and live gameplay of “Prison of Elders” on May 6. While everyone is still waiting for “House of Wolves,” Bungie has also rolled out an update on the game on April 15 under Patch 1.1.2.
