Ever since King launched Candy Crush Saga on the Android and iOS platforms, it has had a huge fan following. Recently a few glitches and bugs have surfaced.
Players have been complaining that they are facing problems related to Facebook connections. Players are getting repeated notifications asking them to log in to Facebook while playing from their Android or Apple devices. The users are also unable to make use of the booster wheel available on Facebook. Apart from these issues, some users are also facing more acute problems where connection to the server is unresponsive.
Users are frustrated, and the feedback in the comments section in both Play Store and App Store can give you a better idea of this. Since there was an onslaught of negative feedbacks regarding bug fixes, King, has updated Candy Crush Saga to a new version. This we hope will solve some of the problems.
The new Candy Crush Saga, version 1.38.1 mentions that the update has fixed some bug issues, but version 1.39.4 doesn’t mention any updates at all. This new version is available on the Android platform for now. The new update has fixed bugs and introduced new levels.
The primary reason for the popularity of Candy Crush Saga is the 700+ levels available to be discovered. The recent bug problem has caused some rivals to make an entry into the market. At the top of this list is Cupcake Carnival, where instead of matching candies, you match cupcakes. Cupcake Carnival has only 70 levels compared to the 700+ of Candy Crush Saga, and if the creator wants to match up to their competition, they have to keep on adding levels.
While Android users are quiet for a moment, post the latest update, iOS users are still miffed about the bug issues. King is the largest developer of apps in Google’s Play Store as well as the App Store and has quite a few well-known apps under their name. In spite of their popularity, they have disappointed quite a few users because of the way they handled the bug issue in Candy Crush Saga.
They were unresponsive and were not providing any updates as to when the bug will be fixed and how the problem can be solved. They have launched a new version with bug fixes, but it is not yet sure to what extent this problem has been dealt with.
Candy Crush Saga is addictive and fun. The server issues along with the bug problems have created a nuisance for the players who are moving to max their levels by playing with bejeweled candies.
